Car air condition sickly sweet smell?
I got a new 2014 sonic, it was ok then after the fist oil change a sickly sweet smell came out of the air conditioner.
Years earlier I had a Honda Civic, after they told me my air filter needed to be changed it had also the same sickly sweet smell. What are they doing to make that smell, what is it?
Normally that smell is associated with hot anti-freeze being blown into the cabin - make sure you are not losing antifreeze and the floor of the passenger front seat is not damp (leaking heater core).
Well it is new enough there should be no issues yet. Have them take a look at it should still be under warranty.

- I have a 2015 Honda rancher that had a crack in the air box. It got so much dirt through the air filter it got into my piston. So it now Burns oil and I was wonder will it ever stop smoking. I know I have to rebuild the engin so don't even say it. And how long will it take before it losses power.
- What to do to keep my car in good condition? I have a 2006 Honda CRV with about 83K. I'm in college and really want this car to last til about 2018-19. I wouldn't be able to finance another car. Anything other than routine matintence and oil changes to increase the life of my car?
- Smell gas inside car? 92 honda civic? I have a slight gas smell coming from the cab of my car. Its a 92 civix dx sedan. I can smell it from inside and slightly from the outside when i stand by the front of car. They are are NO visible leaks on the ground. What can this be? Any honda experts out here?
