Car won't tick over or start?

I have a 2002 Honda civic. I just got my battery fully charged but my car still won't tick over. It is absolutely dead. I have no clue what else it could be. No lights, no tick, no crank, no mileage display, absolutely nothing. Any ideas what it could be?

Also its not the wiring, they are still looking golden.

"looking" golden is not good enough. Even a minor loose connection or corrosion on the connectors can cause the problem you are having. Take off the battery cable, clean the connectors and battery terminals, reconnect, tighten well, and I'll bet it solves your problems.

Of course, your battery could be bad. I don't know how you know that it's "full charged."

You got it fully charged? Is it still fully charged? Check the main fuses under the hood.

  • Valve tick? What is this noise on Honda ATV? I was listening to my ATV and I thought about this ticking noise. Wondering if I should be concerned. I recently did a frame swap on it but it made that noise long before. As long as I've had it's made this noise, should I be concerned? Here is a video that shows what the sound is.
  • My 1983 Honda nighthawk 650 won't start with the electric start? I recently replaced the ignition coils because the old ones were getting heat soaked and the bike would die, however now the bike won't start with the electric start it turns over fin and the starter sounds fine but it won't start occasionally it ll start when it's cold or try to but I've been having to bump start it in order to ride it. So what's making it do this? Could it be the kill switch? Or something else?
  • I have a Honda HRX217 push mower. Backfired when trying to start it, now it won't start? It was running, then I shut it off to open and close a gate, and when I went to start it again there was a really loud backfire and now it won't start. It will sound like it's almost about to start but not. Then get progressively weaker each pull. I changed the spark plug and cleaned the air filter. Any ideas?
  • I have a Honda Harmony HRB215 K4 SDA that won't pull start but if I take off the recoil and drill start it, it runs perfect? I have a Honda Harmony HRB215 K4 SDA that won't pull start but if I take off the recoil and drill start it, it runs perfect. I did a compressin test, the pull start only gets the mower to 60psi but the drill gets the mower to 150psi. This mower does have a decompression vale where the ehaust opest about 1/8 of the way. I tore the ead off and checked and cleaned the valves. They don't stick open. Could there be an issue with the decompression valve? Or would it be the piston rings?
