Do you think driving with worn springs this will cause damage to the clutch/transmission?
The rear springs are very worn. Or maybe the drive train. It makes shifting difficult as the car squats if accelerated hard. And it feels as the hard is lurking back and for.
Nope
naturally worn suspension will result in a ride as youre suggesting
why don't you just replace the rear struts
its not hard
as for your trans - I always like to think about fluid first
after that you consider whether you need a new car
I rear struts i replaced, but the problem still is there but more bouncy, I think the springs are worn out. I been riding on them for a year now. Its gotten worst, Corning is very difficult also
Civics are front wheel drive.
Get your engine and gearbox mounts looked at.
No. But tires it will

- Did you know that Philippines is so poor that if you own a car people will think you're rich? I live in the Philippines and I own a 2013 Honda Fit and I sometimes drive it when I go to the University, it's not even expensive. And my friends think I'm rich. Most people here only use underbone motorcycles for transportation, most families don't even own a car.
- Do you think CVT transmission is bad? I'm truly in love with the 2017 Honda CR-V except for the CVT. I've heard so many horror stories about it that I may buy another car because of it. So do you think CVT is bad or am I worried for nothing?
- Accidentally drove in 2nd gear on highway with automatic. Did I cause any damage to my car? I didn't get much sleep so this morning I was little out of it. On my 15 minute commute to work I accidentally put my automatic car in 2nd gear instead of drive. I drove on the highway for 5 minutes going 60. I didn't notice until I got to work and realized that's why my car felt a little different while driving. It's a 2002 Honda crv. Could I have caused any long term damage?
