Does 2002 honda civic lx have vtec?

Nope, no VTEC on a LX trim level sedan. You would have to get into the Si coupe for the VTEC. Otherwise, the Civic LX is an extremely reliable, safe, fuel efficient and fun to drive automobile. Just go to autozone and get you some vtec stickers to go on it. Thats what make a honda faster than a speeding bullet
