Honda civic grinding noise?

Hi so you have to face facts being a 8 years old car it is now at what honda see as end of life. So engine is what immediately comes to mind. So get it checked out by a HONDA dealer.
Replace the starter motor before you also need a flywheel
It's like thebax2006 said, it's your starter. Not too expensive to replace but should be done sooner than later.
- Why does my quad make a grinding noise? Just recently i noticed that my 1990 honda fourtrax 200 rwd was making a grinding noise in the rear. The grinding noise only happens when i turn right. I think it might be the differential but i just wanted some advice on what it might be or what i should do.
- We have a 2006 Honda CBR. When you drive it, there's a loud whirring noise coming the back underneath side. What could cause that noise? The noise is situated around a CV boot on the left underneath side where the differential connects to the middle.
- Honda Rebel makes clicking/grinding noise when shifted into gear I was driving it just fine until my rpms went high and it rolled to a stop. Could not get it to move. When I shift into first it makes a grinding noise and it won't even stall if I use the clutch incorrectly. Anyone know what it is?
- My car won't move in any gear under its own power but rolls in park while making a grinding noise I drive a 08 Honda Civic LX automatic. Yesterday I tried to take off from a stop and heard a loud metal snapping sound followed by loud grinding. Then it wouldn t move under its own power in any gear even reverse. It starts just fine, even idles as if nothing s wrong, will rev too. I have to have the emergency brake on because it rolls in park. In park it also makes grinding noises.
