How many lower ball joints does a Honda Civic have?

Hi

How many lower ball joints does a Honda Civic EK9 1999 have?

Two one on each side at the bottom of where the tire's suspension pivots. There are two uppers too, one on each side. If you are changing the lowers, I would highly recommend changing the uppers and the tie rod ends too. If your lowers are worn out, chances are that the uppers and the tie rods are too.

  • On my 2001 Honda 300ex, I'm replacing the lower steering bearing. How far in does it go until fully seated? I can't seem to get it any farther than flush with the top of the seat. I've tapped it in with a same size socket and it won't go any farther, but it seems like there's still room… How far in does it go?
  • 1996 honda civic ball joints labor? I got quoted 1.5 hours PER SIDE to do the ball joints that cost me $12 for the kit for both. Seems a bit excessive? I see the kit came with snap rings, does it really take that long? I've been seeing 200-300 labor online everywhere. *lower ball joints*
  • Torque value for upper and lower ball joints on a 2003 honda accord v6 sedan? Anybody know how many foot pounds of torque the castle nuts need to be tighened with a torque wrench on a 2003 accord v6 sedan? Tried researching online but couldn't find info. Also if anybody knows the torque for the compliance bushings. Any help will be appreciated. And if anybody knows would they need to be tightened with a load on the suspension or no?
  • How many miles is to many if I'm in the market for a used car? I'm looking to purchase a used 2003-2005 Honda Accord. I see a lot of them in my budget that have 170-200k mileage. If I'm looking to use the car as a daily driver to work and school ever day? This is assuming I'm going to check out and make sure the car has a good service record. Let me know your thoughts. If you have a different car that you would recommend for a max price of 2,000.
