How much will it cost to change over my insurance from my 91 chevy cavalier to my 2006 honda civic?
I currently have a 91 chevy cavalier and am switching over to a 2006 honda civic LX. I have been paying approximately 100 a month for insurance and have it paid for on my old car up until February. I live in BC and have 15% safe driving discount. How much will this cost me to switch my insurance?
I have no add ons on my insurance, just the basics, and I want the same on the honda. Yes, thank you, I would call my insurance agent but my phone is broken and I thought i'd post this and see if anyone knew before i drove 2 towns over to see what it would cost. I'm just asking for an approximation for anyone who may have gone through a similar situation.
Not being your insurance agent, I can't tell you.
Call your insurance company and ask
Why don't you call your insurance agent?
Too may uncertainties. Did you carry collision on your Cavalier? I don't know why you would. Will you get it on your Honda?
Usually it's just the prorated difference between the regular cost for each car. I've even received small refunds when moving to a car with 'better' safety features.
You need to call them, but you should also rethink whether you will carry collision on the Civic - I would add it. The Cavalier wouldn't be worth more than the deductible, but a 2006 Civic is still worth quite a few thousand dollars, you should make sure you are covered.
- How well built it the Chevy Sonic? Built for over 100k miles? Hello… Looking for a work vehicle. Does anyone know how well built these are? And how long they are made for? Comparable to a honda?
- How much will car insurance will cost me? I want to lease a new 2014 Honda Sedan Getting my licence in june 18 years old/ $800 a month How much will it cost if my dad get an insurance same car He got his license exact year ago good credit score
- Is it worth buying a used Chevy Volt with over 100K miles on it? The price is right, but is it worth it? I know I would have to install a power charging station which is an additional 1000 dollars. There's one for sale at 14,500 dollars… But most used Volts are around 23,000 dollars. My other two considerations are a new 2015 Honda Fit or a used Mark 6 VW Golf TDI I've seen people on youtube who average 120 mpg with the volt! One guy's was even 1000 mpg, I don't think he even brought it to the gas station since he bought the car!
- How much would it cost to change front struts/ shocks on a honda civic 2001? I think that it would cost no more than or a little over $300 (parts + labor). I went to one mechanic that gave me a quote for $575 ($240 for the parts, the alignment, and labor) lol… Which is ridiculous for a fairly old economy car.
