How to know my transmission could be to change? (manual)?
Hi, i drive a honda civic 2006, i know my clutch is to change since i can hardly accelerate on any type of slope, small like big ones when going up a mountain. I tried going up a mountain and i rev up to red line and still took 10 sec to start going up and the 1st and 2nd gear are becoming hard to go in. But how do i know if one day i have to switch the transmission? Is there a way or i'm talking about the same thing and i'm just such a noob anyway thanks for the help
Clutch plate should go out any day now… Either that or it needs adjustment in the travel.About $600 when I had it done.
It would be MUCH cheaper to take you car to a shop of your choosing NOW and have the clutch replaced (your clutch is worn out), then to be towed to a shop and be at the mercy of the shop owner to do a good job replacing the clutch.

- 2004 Honda Pilot! I did an oil change today check the manual for the engine oil capacity, it is 4.8 liters and put 4.4 liters and add .5 ltr? Total engine oil put is 4.9 liters and I'm surprised the dipstick is above the second hole by 10mm. Is it overfill or do i need to remove some?
- Transmission going out on friend's 2004 Impala. Is it possible to install a manual transmission taken from a 1992 Honda Civic in this car? Not worth replacing trans on a car this old, but the engine and everything else are still perfect. My friend was able to get a free manual trans from a 1992 Honda Civic. But i'm not sure whether or not you can use a trans from a different vehicle
