I drive a 2002 honda civic and i have a alpine stero with a usb connector?
I can listen to my music on my ipod but i can't listen to my music on my phone
says a device is not connected but my phone is charged (obviously)
Which Alpine head unit does the car has? Which phone you have? Most car stereo USB ports can only read mass storage devices. Your phone perhaps doesn't use mass storage mode over USB, so unless your stereo speaks MTP over USB, I don't think you'll be able connect to your stereo. Bluetooth? Synchronizing problem?
The Display Audio Interface on most newer units is used for direct connection to and streaming from some current smartphones. Some smartphones may not work. Please see your Alpine dealer for details. Or:

I was told i can just get some from the hardware store and they will work. i tried it and it leaked for a day but sealed up after the fuel made them swell. but after 3 days of no fuel in system they started leaking again… The honda shop wants 28.00 for 4 of them… any idea's out there. I really want to ride this bike a few times before i have to give it up for good…
- Is there any way I can put in an aux cord to play audio if I only have USB ports? I started leasing a 2019 Honda CR-V recently, and the only inputs seem to be USB ports. My friends like passing around the aux cord when we drive places, and though the CR-V does support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, switching between a lightning cable and a micro-USB seems like a hassle (since they have different phone models). I found some USB to aux adaptors online, but the reviews on them say that they can't be used to do what I want.
- What is causing my 2002 honda civic ex (Automatic) to barely move in drive and reverse? My daughter uses this car and was working great one day and then the trans just about quit working. Had to tow it. When in neutral I can hear a high pitch whining sound from trans. Is there any way to fix this. The engine light is also on.
