I have a 2003 honda civic i have used penzoil oil?
The last 11 years could I change to a different brand like mobil? Same weight of course
It doesn't matter what engine oil you use.
The brand means nothing.
I can use both Castro 5W-20 oil or Mobli 1 Oil 5W-20 since its the same type of oil.
I can fill half the engine with Mobil 1 5W-20 and another half with Formula 1 5W-20 and nothing will happen to the car engine.
Remember to check the oil dip stick.
Sure can. Or, you could two of X oil & two of Y oil & one of Z oil. You can mix brands & weights if you want.
Sure you can change to mobile if you want to but what, s wrong with pennzoil? I used pennzoil for over 30 yrs. And never had any trouble with the engines! My Buick i use high mileage pennzoil in it! But yes you can change to mobile if you want to!
- Will 2003 honda accord sedan fender fit a 2003 honda accord coupe? I have a 2003 accord coupe i just want to know if a fender fo 2003 accord sedan will fit the car since they look just the same i can't see a difference from outside
- Will a oil pressure sensor cause a 1999 honda civic not to crank if oil is low? While I was driving I noticed it wouldn't go any faster while I was going about 60mph but I felt the transmission spinning and the revs were high I then pulled over and put the car in Park and noticed the engine wasn't on Or Is it seized?
- Oil Change: Honda Motor Oil Vs Generic oil, does it make a difference? I have been getting oil changes with Honda motor oil for 15 years on my 2002 civic that now has 132K miles. If I switch to a generic $10 oil change garage shop will it still be ok? I know the Honda filters are better then the cheapest generic ones but how about the actual motor oil?
- If I have an oil leak should I continue to use Synthetic oil? I have Honda civic 1997 lx sedan, I have an oil leak on the left side of the engine. By the distributer. My question is, is it worth using synthetic oil even though there's a leak? Or should I just use conventional oil because there's a leak?
