You didn't mention the cost to buy it. But a car with high milage should expect repairs.

If anything save up if you have to, to buy a new car with little to no miles so you can get a longer duration out of it.

Make sure repair receipts follow owner's manual… If so. Buy it.

It obvious these people haven't owned honda before. The main thing you should be worried about is if the timing belt or chain was replaced. All hondas usually need it replaced when it hits that 100k mark. Honda motors can go forever as long as it is well maintained. I would get it, but make sure you go over the car thoroughly though.

If the car has a service/ repair record showing that the owner has been taking care of the car. By having the car checked out by a repair shop (of course you'll have to pay a little fee.) and do a test drive to see if the car perform well on the streets as well as on the freeway. Look at the Interior/ Exterior: Do you like it?

Getting an estimate of repair would be an excellence tool to negotiate the buying price. Site like KBB.com will help to give you an ideas how much you should expect the price ranges for the car. 167K miles is nothing if the repair cost doesn't contain thousand of cocos and you're please with the price.

Edit: @JDM-EGG: So by owning a Honda make you an expert over everybody opinion/ advices?
