Is it worth giving a 2002 honda civic a paint?

I want to buy a used car with less than 110K miles. Car needs some serious painting, and was wondering if it's worth buying it and then giving it a paint. How much would an average cost be?

If its to cover up rust, some proper bodywork can drastically increase the resale value of the car. If it's just to make the car look good, then look into getting a vinyl wrap for the car. These are much cheaper than getting it painted, can be easily removed if you don't like it and add a layer of protection between the outside and the bodywork of the car reducing the chance of rust. With a wrap it's also much easier to fix imperfections. Just get a new wrap segment. With paint, getting imperfections to go away and to look blended with the rest of the car can be difficult. Getting a car wrapped also takes less time than getting your car painted.

Of course, my tip buy the paint and do it your self, you can safe some serious money

Yea i would because it is fairly new and also has less than 110k miles on it. You would also then have an option for reselling it for a bit more.
