Which headlight beams to use?

This pic (Honda civic ) has 3 switches for 3 different light types. I have the same car.

Which headlight beams to use

Number 1 I should use it at night always. I know that.

But what's number 2 and 3?

Can I use 2 (low beam?) all times at night to help me see in the night or will it blind people?

Is 3 (high beam?) the one that blinds people and I should only use it in very dark areas with no oncoming traffic?

By the way 3 is when you have the switch on number two AND the stick pushed back.

Please answer fully thanks!

2000 Honda Civic randomly dies?

My 2000 Honda Civic dies while driving. There's no warning - no shudder or stalling, it just randomly dies. At idle, at low speeds and even while on the highway. When it happens, none of the dash lights work (flashers, gear indicator, nothing) and you have to put it in neutral to restart. It takes several times to restart and usually you have to push on the gas pedal while turning the key. Any ideas? No codes. Replaced broken distributor cap about a month ago.

2001 Honda Civic EX check engine light flashing?

I been having problems with my 2001 honda civic with the check engine light flashing on and off. I leave it running for a couple minutes but get this the check engine light turns off for some time then after driving it for awhile it starts to shake and gives a sound that it wants to turn off as that's happening the Check engine light is flashing and the exhaust starts to steam or smoke.I've replaced the spark plugs and also the up stream and down stream sensors.

How does a engine splash shield come off of a car?

I have a blue Honda Civic and for some reason the plastic underneath the front of the car has come loose and is now dragging along the road when I drive. I was curious how this happened. I took it to get an oil change about two weeks ago, could they have messed with it? Or can this just randomly happen. Also is it important? Do I need to immediately run out and get another one as soon as possible? Just confused. And curious how to get it off too.

Added (1). Should I rip it off or duct tape it for now. So ghetto, but I can't afford a new one right now.

Rearview camera - should I still look over my shoulder constantly?

I recently failed my driving test because I was slightly too slow backing out of my parking spot. My driving is fine overall and when I looked at the examiner's score sheet after my test, I had lost 0 points for the driving portion where I drove around on the roads by the DMV. For the test, I was using the car from a driving school, and I had some trouble seeing out of the back window, which made backing up quite uncomfortable. I'm not a very tall person and the rear window was partially blocked by seats.

My boyfriend recently got a 2014 Honda Civic, which I'll be using for my next exam and the Civic has a large rearview camera that shows the area straight behind the vehicle, as well as the areas slightly to the side of that. It has helped me a lot with backing up and being able to see behind the car.

I'm wondering, though, how much should I rely on the rearview camera? As it's a safety feature, I imagine using it won't immediately make me fail my driving test, but I understand that I might not be able to see people or cars that are in my car's blind spots. Would it be acceptable if I checked the blind spots and then used the rearview camera to back out, while intermittently checking the blind spots and the rearview mirror?
I can't imagine that I would not be allowed to use such a camera considering that it is a feature that the internet tells me will be required by 2018.
