What is the best turbo kit for a 03 Honda civic ex coupe?

Has a stock d17a2 engine Want to know which turbo is best to run on the stock engine

I've read in forums that the d17a2 isn't that responsive with just i/h/e so instead most people say do a k swap (hella expensive) or turbo and i've found people say that they used a godspeed turbo kit and ran 6 or 8 lbs of boost safely with stock internals and thats what i'm looking for because i don't really want to rebuild the motor i want to make at least 180hp safely but it would be nice to get up to 200 hp.

I'd say for a turbo go with a t3, td04, or a t25 turbo from turbonetics or precision as for the the exhaust manifold, dump pipe, intercooler piping I'd get those custom made. One does not simply turbocharge a stock d17a2. You have to lower your compression, get stronger internals, sleeve the block, and get a custom tune. IMHO I'd just swap the d series to a k series.

  • Planning to get a turbo kit for my 2002 honda civic ex with 140k on it i go for it or leave it alone? Is a 1250 dollar turbo kit from ebay. My friend is a mechanic so he would help me for cheap but is it really worth it? I already upgraded the exhaust and got a cold air intake. Also what other upgrades would i have to do if i go for it?

I'm deciding between the infiniti g35 coupe (05-07) model or the honda civic si coupe (07-09) model. I want the g35 because everyone has a honda civic si and I want to stand out but I want the honda civic si because it is very reliable which is probably why alot of people have one. Will the infiniti last me enough to enjoy it or will it just be a waste of money… Please help
