What's the best used car for around $13,000?

Not looking for a boring car like Honda Civic or a truck… Something more modern as well?

(That's pretty much my short list for the next car I get. The Mustang or the 3 would be fun to drive, and still pretty practical. The other three are roadsters with no back seat, but are all drop dead gorgeous and loads of fun to drive!)

You might check out the 2004 BMW 525i. I've owned the 5 series before and I felt it was an exceptional vehicle as far styling, performance, and comfort (it is a BMW after all). I liked it so much I bought my wife an X5. You can get the 2004 5 series for $13k with about 50k miles. It gets decent gas milage (17 city/26 hwy) and I feel the styling continues to look great!

Depends on the TYPE of car your looking for, like a "sporty" car or a economic car. I'd say go for the typical 4th gen mustang or an RSX even though Hondas are lame.
