What type of oil I need to use on 2010 honda civic lx-s? - 1
Any quality 5W-20 weight oil.
The type of oil indicated on the filler cap
SAE 5w-20 conventional or synthetic. Make sure to change the filter with each oil change and use a quality filter. Synthetic is superior to convention in every respect.
Hi so what is so wrong about using what ever honda recommend.
- If in the owners manual it says I should use 5W-20 motor oil, can I use 10W-40 motor oil instead? I have a 2009 Honda Fit. I just recently bought 10W-40 and when I got home to put oil in the manual said 5W-20. What's the difference? And is it okay if I still use the 10W-40?
- What type of oil do I put in my 2006 Honda Civic Lx? I Googled it and some people are saying 5w-20, some people say 5w-30, and others say 0w-20. Which one do I buy for my car? Also how much do I need? Will one of the big jugs be ok? I bought the car used and it didn't come with the owners manual.
- What type of material is on the seats of this 2010 Honda Civic? I'm looking for a Honda Civic 2006-2011, and I can't for the life of me figure out what type of material is on the seats of the car in this video. I'm curious to see if anyone can help me out with what the name/type of material is on the seats of this civic… I like it better than cloth and leather. Thank you in advance.
- What octane of gas (87,89,91) to use for 2010 Honda Civic lx-s? I own a 2010 Honda Civic and I've been using 89 octane from chevron. I want to start pumping at Costco gas but they only offer 87 octane or 91 premium. What gas is factory recommended for a 2010 Honda Civic lx-s 4 door sedan?
