Why on my 2000 honda civic ex coupe i try to put a radio station and i just hear static? Please tell me
It has a sound system
I don't know please tell me i just hear static i bought the car used…
It could be the cable, the antenna itself, or the connector. A visual inspection alone won't tell you if it's bad. You need to have it tested. You could ohm it out yourself with a multimeter. If possible, check the outer braided-metal shielding, the center conductor, and that there's no contact between them. It could also be the radio itself starting to go. How old is all the equipment?
Check the ground for the radio, and also the ground off the battery. Make sure they're tight and free of corrosion. Use a multimeter to check the resistance or the antenna need to be replace.
Maybe antenna is not connected.
It has to be the antenna
Mine does the exact same thing. It had an aftermarket sound system that broke down, then i replaced it with another one one. I found out that the newer system had much shorter cables and it doesn't reach the wire that leads to the antenna. I just left it that way it is.
- I speak in Glossolalia. But how come I hear Honda Shonda la high a lot or repetition. Just asking? Glossolalia, often understood among Protestant Christians as speaking in tongues, is the fluid vocalizing of speech-like syllables that lack any readily comprehended meaning, in some cases as part of religious practice.[1] Some consider it as a part of a sacred language. It is a common practice amongst Pentecostal and Charismatic Christianity. http://en.wikipedia.org/...lossolalia
- Radio code for Honda Civic please? Could anyone help me with the code for a Honda Civic 2004 model. The code that comes up when I hold down 1+6 is U 3000 L 6303 (which I suppose is 3000 6303) I will be very grateful for the code, and thank you in advance! I'm in the UK and it's a UK spec Honda.
- Honda' website says the Civic Coupe and Sedan share the same wheelbase. Why is this? I wanted to buy a real coupe? I wanted to buy a real coupe but it seems like Honda is just ripping us off. They take the Civic sedan and turn it into a coupe. I don't know how they do this but they share the same wheelbase. I thought the coop would be much Smaller with a shorter lenght overall. With a smaller wheelbase to give you more of that sporty feel but I feel like I'm just driving a damn sedan. I don't want a sedan! Does this apply for all cars
- Honda Civic, Did someone try to break in or is it just a worn key hole? I've had this car for 2 years and there has always been a piece of metal that covered the inside of the hole, but recently I felt the key was going in way to easy and I looked down and it was open. The ignition is the same exact way now O.o
