1999 honda crv not firing after head got replaced?
We have a 1999 honda crv that we just put a head on it and it won't fire now it turns over but no spark… Any ideas?
Look around the area of the head for a ground cluster you might have forgotten to reattach. Likely something like that. Look at the wiring and connectors for a disconnection.
Hi when is this fact going to sink kids. You can't mess about like grandfather did changing engine parts as it is no longer a car without a computer built in. It has certain things which need to be addressed in the engine management system. So time to get a grip here. The timing and valve issues all are part of a HONDA engine. So time to be getting lots of money togther and let a HONDA mechanic do it properly.
If it has spark plugs they could be in the wrong firing order.
- I have just changed the battery in my honda cbr1000rr after one month and it not firing up? It a honda cbr1000rr 2008 model. The bike's battery has been dead for more then a month… And it was parked in the sun for two months. The battery is good now but the bike won't start. It just keeps trying but it doesn't.
- 1987 honda hurricane firing but not running? Was riding it today going 55 started dogging on me then died, carburetors? Just bought the bike so don't know too much
- I have a 2015 Honda rancher that had a crack in the air box. It got so much dirt through the air filter it got into my piston. So it now Burns oil and I was wonder will it ever stop smoking. I know I have to rebuild the engin so don't even say it. And how long will it take before it losses power.
- Worth buying a honda civic si with replaced head gasket? Looked at a 2008 honda civic si that has 73,000 miles the car was flawless inside and out. Then the owner told me it blew the original HG. He took it to a machine shop and then did the rest of the work himself. And now runs fine. Is this car still worth buying or should I walk away?
