Will this alternator work with my car?

So basically I have a 2009 1.8L Honda Civic EX. I'm in the market for a new alternator but recently wanted to add better speaker/tweeters and lots of interior lighting. Well bad news, the stock alternator makes a mere 70 amps. So after looking at non OEM alternators, I find they're very specific on makes and models, what exactly can i use or not use in my civic? I see some nice ones, lots of amps to play with extra but labeled for "2.0L 2006-2009 Civic SI" and look to be the same exact layout and everything as a normal civics alternator. I always thought as long as its not so big that you can't physically fit it in your car that you could put it in your car, but with all the plug in's that i'm sure are Honda specific, it's hard to tell what would work in my car.

Is a honda fit lower than a vw golf?

Is a honda fit lower than a vw golf?

Added (1). sorry, not the speed, the body of it being lower than the golf. German "luxury" for maintainence is not as reliable and costly compared to the honda owners I talked with. I owned vw for over 10 years. The quality hasn't always been the greatest and I take good care of the cars.

After replacing our car battery, our remote starter just turns and turns without actually starting the car?

My wife has a 2010 Honda Fit and we just had to replace the battery. We got a remote starter installed from Best Buy in either 2010 or 2011. But after the recent battery replacement, the remote starter responds by just cranking and not starting. It does like three sets of cranking before stopping. I don't remember the brand of remote starter, but anyone have any insight of what I need to do?

Believe Maintenance Minder on When to Change Oil on Honda Fit?

I bought a new 2013 Honda Fit in Jan 2013. It has 2 years has 5.5K miles on it. According to the manual and the Honda customer service via Twitter I should wait till the maintenance minder says to change the oil. This makes me nervous since it's been so long. My maintenance minder hasn't even come on (for 15% time on oil remaining). Anyone have experience working on cars with maintenance minders? Do they work or should I have my oil changed sooner? I plan to drive this car till it dies so I want to keep it in good shape.

Added (1). Replies are all over the map. I'm really looking for advice on someone who has hands on experience. I've seen answers that say 5K miles is ok with modern oil, and others that say do first oil change at 1.5k. Please add your level of experience with the system and/or cars in general to your reply.

Does Honda Fit look girly? - 1

I'm guy, and I just bought a white Honda Fit. When one of my friends saw it, he said it is a girly car. Should I change it? Or do you think Honda Fit is for men too?

Check Engine Codes P0171 & P2A00 related to battery?

I'm getting check engine codes P0171 and P2A00 on my Honda Fit 2008. These both appear to be Air/Fuel injector readings. The weather has been terribly cold. I fueled up on Sunday, and the error showed up on Monday. I tried tightening the gas cap, but that didn't clear up the error. Firestone says they can't read code P2A00 (dealer specific) and Honda refuses to tell me what it means without running a $107 diagnostic.

A friend recommended disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. I'm going to try that tonight. My question is, is it true the battery could be causing these errors? My battery is from 2008 and I've been expecting it to die for several years now, but it's still running with healthy read outs for it's age. Is the battery causing these errors?
