HKS vs Automech vs Magnaflow vs Remus exhaust system?

Okay i'm thinking to install a Free Flow Exhaust to my ride.
Honda city 1.5 vtec (petrol)

I need a free flow exhaust which not only gives good sound but also increase the performance and fuel efficiency on the car.

also, i'm not talking about the end can only. I'm talking to replace from bend pipe to everything.
Confused between the given brands.
Don't want to go custom as i don't know good guys around me who can build one.
i stay in New Delhi, India.

I prefer deep bass sound over noise if you know what i mean.

You will not gain fuel efficiency by changing the exhaust from stock, sorry. Efficiency means less fuel used, you can't use less fuel without reducing air requirements, you can't reduce air requirements without decreasing displacement.

Any gains created by reducing a pumping loss will be efficiency, but that means more air in, which means more fuel to keep the mixture proper, which the PCM will do regardless(except under heavy throttle, where you will have problems with a narrowband O2).

Additionally, by going with too large of an exhaust (most likely anything bigger than what the car came with, Toyota is not dumb) you will actually DECREASE efficiency, as you will harm scavenging, and encourage reversion.

Do not buy into the marketing hype. Making a change to the muffler will have almost no effect on performance, so pick whatever you want for that. But when talking about exhaust further forward, you are actually going to cause problems if you believe the aftermarket. Just take a look at all the cars that have "big" exhaust on them, with soot on the bumper. That indicates a problem with exhaust flow and/or combustion.

One of the best places to hear what an aftermarket exhaust sounds like on a given car is on Youtube. I included videos I found of a City with an HKS exhaust, a Remus, an Automech, and a Magnaflow muffler and Automech header in my sources as examples. I'm not sure if they're exactly what you're looking at purchasing, but it's a good place to start.

Once you find the one with the sound you're after, get that one. As monkeyboy said, you likely won't notice any huge power (or economy) gains from any of them by themselves so one is probably as good as the other from that standpoint.

  • Install PA system in honda crosstour? I have a pa system and wire extension from the speaker to the car battery. The wire that goes from the speaker to the mic is too short to reach inside my cabin. Does anyone have any idea on how to get the mic into the cabin while connected to the battery? I have 25ft cable from the battery to speaker so I can place it pretty much anywhere. And what is a good way to reach the mic into the cabin?
  • How to bypass a honda chipped key system? I lost my only transponder key to the car, is there a way to use an unchipped key and bypass the system? I want to know if there's a way to bypass the transponder and transceiver system for the ignition? I don't want to spend 125 dollars for a locksmith to come out, and the dealership said they charge 145 and the car has to be there to program the chip.
  • What do I need to buy for a booming system in my car? I just got a new 2013 Honda Civic 4 door. I want to put an audio system in that will make my car "bump" while I'm driving. I don't know what subs/amps I should buy at an affordable price that will be compatible and fit in my car. Also, do I have to buy new speakers also? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
  • What type of exhaust gasket should I use when fitting new exhaust? I would like to install new exhaust system on my car and was wondering if I use the flat oval shape gasket or round conical gasket or both? I'll be installing a backbox and centre pipe. It's a 1998 Honda Civic.
