Honda Prelude aftermarket exhaust?
Looking for an exhaust for a 1999 prelude (not SH) 2.2L VTEC. Were looking for something with a nice low deep rum/rumble with less tinny effect. Also looking at a decent cold air intake system, … Best suggestions take the cake!
Stock air intake is the best cold air intake system, Honda spent millions on R&D for that part, if you think some aftermarket company can sell you a $200 that will do it better, I've got a bridge to sell you.
You can't get non-tinny sounding out of 4 and 6 cylinders. The cylinders are too small and the exhaust pulses just aren't right due to there being fewer/less than 8 cylinders. Anyone who knows what impressive exhaust actually sounds like, thinks that 4 and 6 cylinder exhaust sounds stupid and is best kept quiet. Doesn't matter if it's a 3.8L Buick Grand National (turbo obviously) or a 4 cylinder 1.6L Hyundai. They sound stupid when an attempt is made to make them loud.
- Where can I find a genuine 1994 Honda Fourtrax carb no aftermarket stuff? Can't seem to find one only aftermarket junk already bought one and it wouldn't run properly, thanks in advance
- What is the deference between a 1990 Honda prelude and a 1991 Honda prelude? Can I do a motor swap with my 1990 Honda Prelude with a 1991 Honda prelude? Both are b21a1 2.05L engines
- Is it okay to use an aftermarket AC condenser in my 2011 Honda Fit? I need to replace a leaking AC condenser in my Honda Fit. The dealer quoted me a ton so I'm taking it to an AC repair shop. However, the repair shop doesn't use parts from the original manufacturer. The owner told me that the aftermarket condenser has the same specifications though. My concern is that the dealer warned me about aftermarket parts because the pressures involved could mess up other parts. Should it be okay as long as the specifications are the same?
- Does a 5th Gen honda prelude h22 head fit a 4th Gen prelude? I have a 1996 honda prelude si (4th gen) with a h23 engine and I want to swap my head to a h22 and I couldn't find any 4th generation being part out, but I did find a 1997 honda prelude (5th gen) being part out and I'm not sure if it'll fit my engine.
