How to debaffle my 86 honda magna 700/750?
Just wondering if it is as simple as drilling? I herd somewhere i might have to "rejet the carbs"? Will i lose power? Gain power? Am i better off leaving it alone?
as is its just very quite and kind of a safety concern when riding.
Please don't do it -- the baffles are there to reduce noise, but also to create back pressure which the engine needs. If you remove or alter the baffles, you might wreck the engine. Much better to leave it alone. Safety comes from driving carefully, not from alerting people you're coming.
Go to the Honda forums there's a video on how to debaffle your bike, no need to rejet. This bike is too old so go ahead experiment all you want.
- Should I put ape hangers on my 1996 honda magna 750? So I've been riding Harleys all my life but sold my softail because I inherited a honda magna but I want to know if it would look good with ape hangers.
- Should I get a Honda CTX 700? I'm 6 foot tall, and have 35 inch inseam. I bought a Honda scooter (the PCX 150) but the seats and frame are designed for a smaller person. I've had it two years and have never been happy with it. I want an automatic though cuz I have a bad hip and can't be propping myself up with my right leg while searching for gears with my left leg.
