I got two job offers, who should I work for?

I got offered a Salesman Job at a Top Honda Dealership in the Northeast and also a Sales Job selling and presenting background check packages to businesses.

I love Sales and love engaging with customers, it makes my day a whole lot better.

Honda Dealer offers 2K / Monthly + Commission
Other Company offers 30K Salary + Commission

I know the car dealer potential earnings can be as much as I put in to it, but would it be safer to go with the other company?

What are your thoughts?

All answers welcomed, negative or positive.

Read the fine print. The car selling salary is a DRAW VS FUTURE SALES, not a salary. If you do not sell anything, you will owe the Honda dealer money. You will also be working nights and weekends, because people do not buy cars on Tuesdays.

with the 2nd job, it will take you 3-6 months to generate commission & learn the company product line, no matter how good you are.

long term, the 2nd job offers you better, future career opportunities because nobody will want to hire a car salesman.

I would take the salary job. The Honda job is more on an hourly basis and the salary job is better because you get more flexibility. Also, you would still be engaging and talking to customers too.

If i'm u. I sure go for high sallery…
MONEY IS POWER dude…

How do the commissions compare. It's likely the care sales job, if you're good, will end up paying more.

Also, in car sales, potential cusomers walk in. For background checcks, a must lower ticket item, you'd have to go out and find them.
