1994 Honda Magna 750 not idling?
My 1994 Honda Magna Motorcycle is not idling properly. This is a fairly new bike it only has 8 thousand miles. I did leave it in the rain a few times when the rain caught me off guard, and the only other thing I can think of is maybe dirt got into it? When its left alone running the RPMs will go from about 1.5k to 0 slowly and die. To keep it running I must keep gassing the throttle, and when the choke it pulled it kills it.
Rain has nothing to do with it. Probably a vacuum leak.
Adjust the idle screw to raise the idle.
- Should I put ape hangers on my 1996 honda magna 750? So I've been riding Harleys all my life but sold my softail because I inherited a honda magna but I want to know if it would look good with ape hangers.
- 1995 Honda Magna vs 1995 Honda VFR 750? Which is better at -top speed -acceleration -do you think the top two matter? -driving pleaser (if you know) -sound (if you know) -reliability I'm looking to get one of these two but I'm not sure which one. I feel like I love these two motorcycles equally so do I get the cheaper one that I can find?
- How to debaffle my 86 honda magna 700/750? Just wondering if it is as simple as drilling? I herd somewhere i might have to "rejet the carbs"? Will i lose power? Gain power? Am i better off leaving it alone? as is its just very quite and kind of a safety concern when riding.
- Honda cb500 1994 temp. Gauge, and oil indicator does not work? Hey guys just got my first honda and of course it's great and i'm loving it, but i have a small issue with the temp gauge. It seems not to work, even when the fan turns on it does not seem to even get up from the bottom. So any ideas what and where i should try fixing? One more thing is that the oil indicator does not light up at the start, any ideas why? The lamp is ok I've checked it already
