How to get over fear while on a motorcycle?

So I've taken the motorcycle safety class and I have had my license for a year now. I've had my 99 honda rebel 250 for a year as well. I've driving around town( back end roads with little traffic). A few hundreds of time no problems never stall it or dumped it, no problem coming to a stop or taken off. The problem is riding in traffic doing 45+. How do I get over this fear and did you have this fear as well?

That fear should morph into a healthy respect for the danger that could happen if there's an accident. No room for error on a bike. If this doesn't happen then you should consider selling the bike.

If you look ahead and leave yourself an out (enough room to stop or turn), then you'll be ok, dude.

> How do I get over this fear
Freeway. Got to keep up with traffic.
Make sure your helmet strap is nice and tight, and close the visor before you get to the onramp. You're wearing a full face helmet with real DOT sticker, right?

> and did you have this fear as well?
No

No way…

Be confidence, and ride as much as possible in normal traffic conditions. Confidence will remove your fear…

Consentrate on your riding. Do not even dare to think about fear.
when you are afraid, you may make a wrong decision and that could cost dearly.
accept the risk of riding a motorcycle and concentrate on safe riding then you will be ok.

  • Why do people get mad over the fact that their cars require full synthetic oil? I work as a mechanic and found some people do not like the fact 2010 and up toyotas and Hondas and almost all 2014 cars and European cars require full synthetic oil. A majority of the anger comes towards toyotas and Hondas. Despite me explaining the increased intervals, they still get angered at the fact. Is it just me or does less time doing oil changes that save you more money in the long run end up coming out cheaper despite the increased price and why would they be angry saving money?
  • Over filled motorcycle oil and riden for 5 miles? Basically i like an idiot over filled my motorcycle (honda vision 110) with to much oil. And rode it home from where i bought the oil (5 miles roughly) alot of smoke blue smoke came out. I've drained it but was just wondering what's the likelyhood of serious damage? Its not not kicking out smoke since i've drained it. Currently in bits as i've only just bought it brand new basically after saving so hard any help is so greatly appreciated!
  • Motorcycle starter over heated starter and only the solenoid clicked so i rebuilt the starter n tested it with a battery n it worked fine? Put it back in bike and again only the solenoid clicks… Is there a fuse for the starter or a relay i may have blown? 1988 honda hurricaine 1000F i'm ready to hang it up but the bike runs so good when it runs. i ran out of gas n kept trying to start it till battery was dead and that is how it got this way. Please and thank-you starter works fine when hooked up to a battery off the bike. what gives?
  • Accidentally Took out the wrong engine cap in my Motorcycle while trying to drain the Engine Oil? My Motorcycle is a Honda XRM. I was trying to change engine oil but opened a different screw/cap just beside the engine oil drain.A 5 inch long spring and a rod with holes came out, i put it back the way i think it should be, then opened the Drain cap, drained the engine oil and filled it with new oil. But when i start the motorcycle it sounded like there's something loose moving inside the engine. What is the rod and spring that came out? Is it critical?
