Is 56k miles a lot for a motorcycle?
I'm considering buying a 03 Honda cb 919. It looks it's beautiful shape. I have not heard it in person but the seller insures it's running perfect. He had it for 2 years with no problems. He bought it at 50k miles. I'm concerned on the life of the bike after I buy it. I don't want something that will only work for a little then start having problems. Let's say it was taken care of. And maintained regularly. Is it worth buying a bike with that much miles. The seller wants $2,000. He is moving and can't bring the bike. Help please
That's a rather hight amount. I have 20k on mine and felt it was a lot. You can still rebuild and it will be ok.
If well maintained the 56K is not a problem. The price is reasonable if all the little things like tires, chain and sprockets are in good shape.
2K sounds about right for that bike. If it looks good and runs good, you shouldn't have any problems with it. Honda makes a good product that will run for a very long time with little more than maintenance.
At 2K it's worth a chance.
Nope.
Mine has 53K. Honda makes a good product that will last for decades.
Parts are easy to find. I get parts for 20 year old bikes… At the dealer, of all places.
- Is it worth it to trade a 2003 Toyota Corolla almost 130k miles for a 2004+ Acura TL 90k-110k miles? This is my moms old car and she got the Honda Pilot, she gave it her old car to me as my first car, but I want to trade it for a nicer car but used Acura are expensive and every time I asked the sellers to trade my Corolla and says no. Do you think Acura owners don't like Toyota?
- Motorcycle at walmart parking lot? I work 8 hour shifts at a Walmart. I'm wondering where the best place would be to park a motorcycle (honda rebel 250). Would it be near the entrance, somewhere in the middle, or as close to the doors as possible? Also, other than a cover what else should I invest in? I work 4-12 so I'm afraid it could be stolen while i'm working
- How long will a car with 56k miles last me? My 2012 Honda has 56k miles and I've had it since it was at 19k. If I keep up with the maintenance and drive anywhere from 12-15k a year how long could it last?
- Should I buy a 2008 honda civic ex-l that has 100000 miles or a honda civic lx that has 82k miles? The honda civic ex-l has only one owner and the honda civic lx is from a dealer. They're fairly the same price
