Transmission on 1984 Honda Shadow 700?

Alright I just bought the bike about a week ago, for my first bike.

Now when I'm riding and shifting from 1st to 2nd the bike sometimes goes into neutral. Is this a problem i will have to address with the bike or is this just a beginner mistake?

The engine runs great, I want to keep it that way

How to tighten clutch/friction zone on motorcycle?

I bought a used 2013 Honda cbr250r repsol edition motorcycle with just 1100 miles on it yesterday and I keep stalling the bike to point where I had to push it home. The clutchs friction zone is too far out to my finger tips and I have small hands so it causes the bike to stall, What should I do to make the friction zone smaller? How do I tighten the clutch cable? Or do I need to just buy a whole new cable and take it to the shop?

Why does my dirtbike smoke so much (like clouds of smoke)?

I have a 2003 honda cr85rb. It ran fine before then one day it just lost power. It bogs when i let out the clucth until i get higher rpms and sometimes it won't even let the rpms go up even if i'm not giving it gas it won't go back to idel rpms. I have replaced the bottem end gasket, the top end gasket, the exsaust gasket, and the reed gaskets. I also just put in a new pistion and rings and cleaned the carbarator. The jetting is fine and the float doesn't stick. I've heard it could be a bad crank seal but how would i tell? I was running it a 42:1 and it ran perfect (very little smoke). I've thined my gas out twice to see if that was the problem and its not. The first time I drained my tank and got all new gas and mixed it to 38:1 and still smoked crazy. The second time i drained it again and got all new gas AGAIN (not cheap 5 gallons at a time) this time i have it at 32:1 and it still smokes. So is it a bad crank seal and how would i know for sure if it is? Also is the any other possible reason it could smoke so bad?

1979 Honda Cb750 charging system issue?

1979 Honda Cb750 charging system issue?

Added (1). Had an issue for a while
bike slowly dies on me while driving
the lights slowly get dimmer until there's just not enough electricity to run it and then it dies
tested the stator wires for the correct resistance, they are showing slightly more than the honda maintenance manual suggests but it sounded like the main issue would be if they didn't have any resistance causing an open so i don't think the stator is the issue
hooked up a multimeter to the battery
it held a solid charge for over 5 days

Honda cb650 motorcycle won't start now?

Is the Hero Honda Hunk a good bike for a learner?

I know how to drive a car, but I'm new to two wheelers. I was impressed by the Hunk's features and design, but don't want it to be roughed up by my driving. Should I go for it directly, or should I learn with another bike and then make the switch?

Should i buy a 1984 Honda Magna V65?

I looking at buying a 1984 Honda magna 1100 with about 37XXXk miles on it i'm just wondering if its a reliable bike and if its a bike that need quite a bit of maintenance. I currently have a 1992 Honda nighthawk 750 thats virtually maintenance free just oil changes, tires. I really want a bigger faster bike and i'm thinking about this 84 V65 i've come across. So if you know a little bit about the bike please share. Thanks

Added (1). I've read that you have to adjust the valves from time to time about every 10k miles and that there's a camshaft problem to them not lasting very long due to bad oil flow to the top of the head and that it could be fixed with a mod to how the oil flows to the head. Would that be an expensive mod?
