My dealer didn't give me a wheel lock nut key?
It is almost a year since I bought by car from the honda dealer, today I notice. I never got a wheel lock nut key. Is it too late to call them?
Look in the owners manual or glove box for it
You'll never know until you do.
It happened to me too, but I took the car back in one week. They tried to look for the key, but they lost it so they have to destroy all the lock nuts and install new ones at no charge.
1 year sounds like a long time. But dealers will try to get you come back in their dealership like every 3 months for maintenance. If they don't even try to help you, then tell them you won't be seeing them anymore.
I would call them to ask for the key, but it might not be their obligation to provide you with one depending on the nature of the purchase. If they were supposed to give you one in the first place, then you should have no trouble calling them.
So you haven't bother to rotate your tires for a year. Really smart idea there.
Take the car to a reputable tire shop. They will be able to remove them with a little effort.
Give them a call and see what they say. If they do say no, you could try get another one.
Call them
- Why does the left front wheel on my 4wheeler lock as soon as i touch the lever but the other 1 don't even hardly slow down? I have a 2007 Honda Recon 250 4wheeler and it's been doing that off and on for awhile now, i thought it might have been a low tire because it's done the exact same thing before with a low tire but my tire pressure is fine. I'm guessing something is wrong with the brake shoes but i'm not sure what to look for because i'm not very experienced in the mechanic department and i don't wanna mess something up worse than it already is Haha very funny Andrew
- Is trouble shooting a helmet lock the same as trouble shooting a key stuck in a door? I have a Honda VFR and the key is stuck in the helmet lock. Its all the way in and turned slightly but won't budge. I just need to know if i should try lube before i call a locksmith.
- How much does a lock smith charge to only make a key for a car? I have recently lost my keys to a 2000 Honda Civic LX car and I was wondering what the price would be to create a brand new key. I live in the New York area so any quotes from the New York area would be more desired.
- Honda Civic 2013 - Key lock? So I got into an accident back in August. Before that the actual keys (NOT THE REMOTE) worked fine. But after the accident, the rear driver side door had to be replaced completely. I, like most people, don't really use the actual key to get in/out of my car. I use the remote. But I was wondering what I can do to get the actual key fixed/programmed properly? Should I go back to the dealership and ask them to fix it? If so, any idea how much that would cost? Any suggestions would be helpful!
