What type of engine do I have?

So I'm a high school student, in a shop class, i'm rebuilding a riding lawn mower, but needed an engine, the shop gave me a free small engine. My only problem is that i need to buy some extra parts for the engine, and for that i need to know what type of engine it is exactly.
This is what I know.
Its a one cylinder 4 stroke honda with over head valves and the head is not removable, which is odd to me. This is all i know about the engine, i have no model number i don't even know what the engine came out of.

My Car seat won't ascend?

I have a 2006 Honda Azalea; The seat won't ascend at all. However, I can recline the seat, but when I do that it will not go back up. I can't take passengers because it won't go up! Does anyone have a reason as to why this is happening and possibly a fix?

Want to learn about cars?

I love cars and I recently started looking at big tech schools like uti and Lincoln tech but they are too expensive. My actual career goal is somewhere in the medical field like a PA. But I'm really interested in cars and would love working on them and having the knowledge to repair them plus it would be cheaper to fix my own car which is a 67 Honda so it has a lot of problems. There's a 26 week program called Pennsylvania technician training institute that is 12k but it's good compared to 32k from Lincoln and they offer state inspection license and 2.5k of tools. But I'm wondering if it would be a smart move to do if being a mechanic isn't my main career goal.

I've went into repair shops and tried to get free work or just be mentored and they don't want to bother with me because they are "too busy" to teach or let inexperienced people in.
