Car dies if I try to accelerate?

I have a 1990 Honda prelude 2.0 si. The fuel pump had been changed. When I turn on the car sometimes it has difficulty turning over other times it's instant. When I'm in idle it'll sometimes drop very low and seems to have trouble staying on. If I try to floor it it'll sputter and try die. Other times if I'm in a red light and try to accelerate nothing happens. It doesn't rev or move forward. It'll then die and make a loud grinding noise. I checked the engine oil and its fine. What could be the problem?

93 honda prelude automatic. No reverse?

I'm girlfriend was driving to the store and the rear view mirror feel on the shifter causing it to go into neutral, she put it back into drive and continued to drive about 2 more block until she got to the store. When she got back into the car and put it in reverse the car wouldn't move, she was able to put it into neutral and the car rolled back enough to drive off. When she got back she told me what happened so I got in the car and drove around the block just fine but when I put it in reverse nothing. It also makes a noise like a other engine is running when in park and reverse. Any suggestions would really appreciate it.

Honda saying the problem is burned out headlights but if I juggle the wire the headlight comes back on?

Headlights going on and off for 8 months, sometimes the left one, sometimes the right one. They always go out and come back on.

All the guys at Honda keep saying is your headlights are burned out. But I giggled the wire last week and got them to come back on. But they keep cutting me off mid-sentence and saying "SIR! I TOLD YOU THE HEADLIGHT ARE BURNED OUT. TAKE THE DIAGNOSIS OR LEAVE IT, BUT EITHER Way YOU STILL OWN US $115 FOR THE DIAGNOSIS FEE."

How to pick out early model Mercedes 4-door sedan for retirement?

Me and her, I have Honda Element, She has an SLK 2003. I want something that will see us through until I get called home. Not much matter to me but I know if I mention Mercedes it will be motivation for her to go ahead now and consolodate the two car into one. What to look for? Do I need a compression test?

Do I need to use my crossover w/o amp if the stock speakers have tweeter?

Okay so I just bought some component speakers for my 2000 Honda Prelude and i do not have an amp for them, just the door speakers in the front. The stock system has a tweeter/woofer already separate. Can i just simply replace the speakers without using the crossover and how? Or do i need to involve the crossover and how do i hook it all up without an amp… P.S. I just installed an aftermarket radio too so how do i hook up to it if possible?
