Honda and mazda cars. Which is better?
Which is a better car? The honda pilot or the mazda CX-9? Please tell me why also thank you
The Honda Pilot is the better value and less maintenance expense in the two wheel drive variation. Unless you live in the mountain west four wheel drive is over rated. To lug around an additional 1500 pounds of moving parts that directly penalizes gas mileage and, to pay a $4000 premium for the privilege is not the best decision for the average family.
Furthermore, the Honda Pilot has been manufactured for a longer period of time, which provides a more complete reliability track record for the owner. This too makes the Honda a better vehicle when considering a purchase.
Finally, Honda's reputation for building vehicles with long service life dwarfs Mazda's reputation in the US To bet on a Honda has yet to prove a bad bet for the money against any car maker. Cheers.

I own a Honda Passport, which is now on its third motor, second transmission, and who knows how many window regulators (one more needs replaced).
It is six years newer then my Mazda which is still on its first engine and transmission. I have had to replace one window regulator.
So while I have never owned, driven or even sat in a Pilot, I would say the Mazda. Based on personal experience with other Honda and Mazda products.
The honda pilots motor and tranny seem to be more reliable than the mazda. Body wise they r about the same.
Honda Pilot fer sure! Not only is Honda more reliable but it's maintence is better and alot cheaper to fix.
- Mazda reliability? Particularly 2013 mazda 3? I'm in the market for a new car and I was looking between 2013 Toyota corolla which is just boring and doesn't have as much features compared to Honda, or mazda. The Mazda 3 is at a good price 1000 dollars cheaper then the Toyota. So my question is, is Mazda reliable for that generation, or should I stick with a very well known reliable car maker?
