Upgrades to make a 86 Honda prelude faster?
Hi, I have a 1986 Honda prelude, 1.8L dual carbourated, 5 speed, 170, xxx miles. I just did a tune up (Spark plugs, Oil, fuel filter.) this car runs really good, and is somewhat fast for being almost 30 years old. I want to do some simple upgrades on it to make it faster though. I have around $250 bucks and was wondering how far that could get me.
No simple upgrades will make it faster, sorry.
Take your $250 and save it for oil changes.
Come back and ask when you have $5000+ to blow.
Get a fast guy to run behind you pushing it.
Replace your air filter… Toss your spare tire… Rip out the carpet… Go on a diet… Anything to lower the overall weight… Subtracting weight works like adding horse power… Mostly… Or just buy an ls1 car

- Does a 5th Gen honda prelude h22 head fit a 4th Gen prelude? I have a 1996 honda prelude si (4th gen) with a h23 engine and I want to swap my head to a h22 and I couldn't find any 4th generation being part out, but I did find a 1997 honda prelude (5th gen) being part out and I'm not sure if it'll fit my engine.
