Can i put synthetic oil on 94 honda accord ex?

Will it be safe? Recommend

It's a Honda just do it if it brakes that's one less Honda on the road if it doesent you have new oil win win

I ran my Honda Accord Aerodeck on semi synthetic oil with no problems and when I part ex'd it the odometer read 1480000 and was only just starting to smoke

So why waste your money putting a synthetic oil in a car as old as a 20 year old car. It is not going to make it any less worn. Only a a reconditioned engine would need a new synthetic oil.

So long as the oil meets the requirements for your honda, so on one that old it would be between 10w40 and 10w30 as your options (if your motor is quite worn maybe even heavier), I can't see any decent oil not meeting the other requirements, as those motors aren't anything extraordinary. That all being said you wouldn't see any performance gains changing to synthetic oil. Even modern hondas generally only ask for 10w30 mineral oil. I would use a good quality mineral over a cheap synthetic any day too, so synthetic isn't automatically a better oil

Now is a good time to use fully synthetic… It will significantly reduce any more engine wear and give better protection for initial start-up. I own a garage.uk.every one of our vehicles is on fully synthetic… And it will never cause any problems.full stop

That will make a mess. Out the oil IN the motor!

Yes you can as long as its 10w 40. My old honda has run on semi synthetic for a good few years. If you are doing an oil change, use wynn's engine flush, just follow the instruction on the tin. Also get a new oil filter
