How to remove / replace Honda Accord 1997 inner tail light that is attached to the trunk lid?
I have never shopped for a vehicle in North America before. I have my budget and know exactly what I want. In China, most of cabs are Jetta, they were very reliable. Good enough for cabs; then good enough for me. So i use the same theory… Look for Ford Crown Victoria. As they are big and seemed to be well built. So I go to the dealership. According to the internet, I should look for idle hours. For example, most of those cabs or ex police cars do idle a lot. Ford website said 1 hour=33 miles. A few of them i looked had 1000 hours;aka 33000miles to be added. So i told the dealership. The guy said i was new to the country and do not know what I'm talking about. I should look for BMW or Honda Accord. I told them I do not like those. Costs too much to maintain. Since I live in Canada now; i'd rather buy a made in Canada vehicle. But none of salesmen like what I told them. But they seemed to insist I shouldn't buy a Crown Vic; but BMW only… Why car salesmen in North America seemed to believe they know me better and never listen to me? That's just rude. This is the same in Canada and the US. I have looked for both countries for vehicles. I think I should just go to the government surplus instead to avoid them.
Added (1). why a car salesman said:"Asians should not drive a redneck vehicle?" I have to google it. It means "poor white man". What's wrong with them? Don't western culture value individualism? Just because I'm asian; does not mean I like Honda ONLY. Btw? What's wrong with driving a "poor white man"'s vehicle like Ford?
Added (2). The reason I was looking for a Ford Crown Victoria; we watched a lot of American movies in China. Crown Vics seemed to be cool. Good enough for police officers; then good enough for me. I can't believe 4 out 5 dealerships I asked; insist I shouldn't buy a Ford Crown Victoria; wanna sell me something else. That's just crazy.
Added (3). Is this very funny for car dealerships that an Asian was looking for a Ford Crown Vic? I have never expected that. I mean there were Chinese back home drive Chevy and Ford pickups. A lot of them. So they are all "rednecks" according to car salesman.
I have a 1999 Honda accord LX. I turned off the vehicle BUT the brake lights stay on, why could that be? - 1
Okay so I'm a delivery driver and currently have a 1997 honda accord 4 cylinder auto 2.2 l with 185k on the Chasse. So I have 6 k saved and planned to use this to keep me on the road and delivering. The car at this point is solid. No knocks rust or really any issues at all. Would it be wise to use this money to buy a newer car or use this money to overhaul my current car. Completely rebuild the engine trannny new bolt ons update the suspension the works?
I'm thinking about buying a 2005 honda accord for $1,800. But it has 90 k miles on it. I was wondering if this would be a good buy. I would only be using it to go to school and work around town, normal use
I have a 1996 Honda Accord. I want to know how many miles I can drive on a quarter tank of gas?
Added (1). I get about 25 miles to the gallon.
Why did they discontinue the 2014 Honda Accord Plug-in Hybrid already?
On a 1991 Honda Accord main relay, is that supposed to be grounded to make the fuel injectors work? - 1
I drive a 2001 honda accord and I was driving with my window down and the sun roof open and when I hit about 100 mph I heard this loud very high pitched whistling noise, It sounded like the sound a fastrak makes when pass by a toll station, almost like a beep. I don't think it was the engine, I'm guessing it could've been wind noise because it only does it at high speeds, but I'm by no means a car expert so what could it be. I also have a side question, does a 2001 honda accord automatic transmission have a rev limiter? Like is it impossible to red line it?
The oil pressure light came on and it started leaking coolant. There's no oil/coolant mix when I checked. I replaced the radiator, hoses, thermostat, changed the oil, oil filter, air filter. Regular maintenance. I haven't driven it since the oil light came on to avoid any further damage. I'm ruling out blown head gasket. Car starts fine, but then ten minutes passes by and the oil light comes on and coolant leaks from the radiator. I turn it off immediately. Could the oil pressure sensor or something be wrong not allowing coolant to flow to cool the oil? Any answer helps. Thanks. It is a 1997 Honda accord 2.2L non vtech with 164k miles on it.
