Would a 1996 Honda Accord be a good first car?
Would a 1996 Honda Accord be a good first car? - 1
Hey what's sup
A 19 year old car probably wouldn't be the best choice, but it's a good make/model.
Excellent first car. Will run forever and really easy to fix
Excellent choice if the car has been taken care of and serviced regularly. Know that the engine in this Accord is an interference engine with a cam belt. If the belt breaks you will have serious engine damage. This belt MUST be replaced every 105,000 miles. If you do not know 100% when it was replaced do not take a chance, replace it as soon as you buy the car. This will cost you around $425-$500 at an independent shop.
This is a perfect choice for the first car! Honda's Accord is one of those rare vehicles that seems to live up to the claims made for it. Everyone can find something to fall in love with when it comes to this pioneering sedan. It can function as a family car, or it can be dressed up and equipped to take on the bright lights of the city streets. Silky smooth performance, technologically advanced options, and a sleek, aerodynamic body-on-frame design elevate the Accord to certain Hall of Fame status.
- What would be a good first car? I kind of don't want a Honda or a Toyota so are there any other car brands that have reliable cars?
- What would be a good first car? - 1 I'm going to start my summer job in about a month and I'm going to earn around $2,500. I want to use this money to buy my first car. I'm stuck on which car I want to buy. I want the performance of a early 2000's Camaro, the sportiness of a Subaru, at the price of a Honda. What cars do y'all recommend for me. Or should I just get a truck so I can use it for work?
- Taking my car into the shop for the first time (my first car and first time at a shop)? Recently acquired a 1999 Honda Accord for $1500 with only 160k. Runs great but my dad checked car and said oil is low and then proceeded to check the rest of the car and said all my fluids need to be replaced. What does that mean and what is the price for fixing this? I want to go to the shop with some sort of understanding of the prices so I know if I'm being ripped off or not.
- Is Honda Accord 2013 model a good decision for a first car? I'm getting my g2 licence next month and and looking to buy my first car. I wanna buy something used but not too old. I'm thinking of buying a Honda Accord 2013 model but i don't know if I'm being realistic. I make $2000 dollars a month.
