Modern cars today can easily go 200,000 miles or more with no major repairs IF they are serviced regularly. My grandson is driving a 2006 Honda Civic that has 185,000 miles on the odometer and it runs perfectly. The Honda Civic is a very dependable car with a bulletproof engine. This car you are looking at is worth around $6,000 retail if it is in excellent condition. Condition is the most important factor. Also has the car been wrecked and has a rebuilt title? If so, it is worth about 25% less. I would ask to see a Carfax report on the car as this is really very cheap. http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2006/Honda/Civic-4-Cyl/Sedan-4D-DX/Values Hi the issue is just that a modern car is designed to be out of warranty and therefore classed as scrap metal after 8 years or 100k miles as the engine must be worn out. Sounds ok, check thre is paperwork for the maintenance that has been done. Also the cam belt would need to have been changed
