How do I turn the front passenger airbag on in my 2014 honda civic?
Have someone sit in the passenger seat.
The passenger air bag turns off when it is not needed, i.e. When no one is in the seat.
The owners manual in the glove box explains many things about your new vehicle. It isn't in there just for looks.
- Passenger airbag off? My mom hit my 2011 Honda Civic on the rear bumber. It was just a small scratch but since then the Passenger Air Bag off light has been on. Is there a way to fix it or should I take it to be repaired? My bad, it said Side Airbag not passenger. @Gary it's a small garage and it was an accident no fraud, no insurance claim is being made and it's a small dent.

I mistakenly left both my front windows rolled down in my 2012 Honda Civic hybrid during a rainstorm and now the "passenger airbag off" light is on, even though nobody (and nothing) is sitting in the passenger seat. For some reason the passenger airbag off light came on. It is like this all the time, so it's not an issue of someone sitting in the airbag deploy path. As far as we know, nobody touched any buttons, but we don't know how to turn the airbag back on. Any help's appreciated.
