How did my car get 60MPG recently? Is the trip computer broken? - 1
Added (1). My car is a newish Honda Civic with EPA rating of 39MPG on highway but I recently got 60MPG during a 70 mile freeway trip. How was this possible?

2016 Honda Civic-EX or 2016 Nissan Altima- ST? Both models look amazing and I can't decide!
So September 7th I financed a 2015 Honda Civic because my Nissan was costing to much to get fixed so I decided to just get s brand new vehicle. I went in with the intentions on leasing but after everything was set and done they told me I was financing and I'm like financing? But anyway I like the car but I don't want to keep it. I really want another car. A 2016 maxima or something more flashy. I mean if I'm going to be paying a 400$ dollar car note I want it to be something flashy and the Honda just isn't flashy at all. So I'm wondering if there's anyway I can lease the car? So after my 2-3 years I can give it away. Right now I'm on a 5 year plan. But everyone I've asked is saying how my credit would be affected. My credit right now is about 714 so it's not all that great but still it's pretty high for a 22 year old. Anyway I would love to hear what you guys think.
I need to buy a car as soon as possible. I'm currently working and can afford monthly car payments of about $300 dollars / month. The reason why I want a used car is because I plan on going to law school soon (fall 2017) and will no longer be working. Therefore, I don't want to get stuck paying a car during my law school years. I saw a 2008 Honda Civic for 8,000. If I give a 2,000 down payment, would it be a good deal? I have no credit but my father is willing to co-sign for me. He has very good credit. Any advise would be appreciated.
So I ran my car with no oil so my guess is I bent a rod cause knocking is pretty loud. Its a boosted "turbo" sohc 1996 Honda civic coupe. If you know Hondas these are super easy to work on. I'm tryingvto avoid scam mechainics. What all should be done in the process of rebuilding? What's the price range I'm looking at for the rebuild and any other parts such as head gasket etc? What should I watch for when getting estimates? What's the easiest lie they can tell you? Any info would help. 
Also when i step on the gas pedal it revs up all the way to the top 8x rpm and stays right there even when i let go of the gas pedal. Please anyone who can tell me why this happens?
This is a 1995 honda civic by the way
It won't pass inspection because of it, and the guy at the garage said it would cost $170.00 to fix! I wanted to try plugging the wires back in first. (see pics). Nothing else is broken. The wires are color-coded. The ones on the mirror are pink, orange and brown. The ones in the door part are white w/red stripe, red w/yellow stripe and green w/white stripe. Does anyone know if this might be fixable? How do I plug these back in? Any info/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
