How many miles is too much on an Acura TL?

I found a very clean Acura TL for $4,800 (can probably bargain down to $4,500) and it has 133k miles on it. As I stated before it looks very well taken care of at glance so I think it's fair to assume it has been maintenances regularly as well. However many of my family members think 133k is too much and want me to get a car at 100k or less. I'm notnsure how I feel about 133k miles either but I know they're just fancier Honda's and can easily keep going past 200k if maintenanced properly. I also need a car as soon as possible and don't want to miss out on a potentially great deal. Should I buy it?

SHUT UP IDIOT HOW SHOULD I KNOW? ***** IDIOT GO TO A MIRROR FREAK

Does the seller of the TL have proof of all full and complete service and maintenance receipts? If they do the Acura has huge potential.

Honda/Acura engineer and design some of the most durable and long lasting engines in the automotive business. If the TL has been maintain it still has half a life to go.

The early 2000's ones have very trouble-prone automatic transmissions that never last over 30,000 miles. Find one with a manual transmission or look for a newer than 2008 or older than 2000. Lookit: https://www.carcomplaints.com/Acura/TL/2003/

You've already answered your question: if you're still not sure about this car, you walk away and go look for something else.

What you want, of course, is someone to guarantee that nothing can possibly go wrong. Not on this planet, Bunkie.

My 1997 honda accord is all rusted but it has 500000 km on clock and runs perfect… So if it feels right when you test drive it should be good. However not more than $4000.

Any you forgot to tell us what year it is…

If it has been taken care of and the timing belt replaced at abut 100,000 miles, it should be good for another 50 -100k. Good engines( Honda V6). I have had one for the past 12 years and have not experienced any issues.
