My friends pcx blew and the crankshaft seized we un seized it with a breaker bar to find out it spins smoothly but when you open the throttle it cuts out and the crankshaft locks up straight away? Is there a throttle activated oil pump in these or what could it be. I'm used to working on 2t bikes done plenty of rebuilds & as far as 4t bikes I've only done dirt bike engines which aren't fuel injected… Does anyone know?

I have a question to anyone who owns or has owned a Ducati Supersport: What is the riding posture like? (an aggressive tuck or a more up right position)
I'm veering more toward restricted bikes, so that when I get the A license I can de restrict them.
I have always had a soft spot for Ducatis but they are not as reliable as the Japanese manufacturers.
I have my license for car an motorycle. I currently drive a 400cc motorcycle honda from 1979 i can do most of the upkeep on a bike myself. Insurance is 160 a month. Would it make more sense to drive a car an try to maintain it myself as well or is the bike cheaper in the long run. Insurance is 100 a month for a older small car. I live up north an ride year round in the cold an snow. I use it as a across town bike 1-2 miles tops unless it above high 30s
I'm currently using a friends honda pcx it cut out a couple days ago and I thought the starter motor went because it wouldn't crank over today I took it apart to check what's wrong and the crankshaft was seized in place I cracked it out of bring stuck and the bike started quite nicely then after about 30 seconds seized up again… Did that every time I unsiezed the engine. I'm going to rebuild the engine before giving it back to my friend but just wanted to know what the most likely thing could be. I have a rough feeling it's crankshaft related but I'm not sure what the 3 sprockets on the crankshaft are and wondered if there could be something jamming do do with the sprockets. Anyway I'll be fixing it either way and my friend doesn't mind about the bike as he's been letting me borrow it for around 6 months now… Anyone know what it could be like oil pump or anything?
An XR100R is a dirt bike. Mainly known for a starter bike for teenagers. It's also known for an adult trail riding bike because it's easy to maneuver. My last post was misunderstood. I wasn't making fun of anyone for riding on. I'm the one riding it lol I was simply asking if it might look weird to other people that a 5' 7" guy is riding around on a 100. It's smaller than the average dirt bike that adults ride. That's my question

I'm selling my Honda Grom to a buyer and was wondering if he buys my bike, will my registration automatically get terminated after I sign the title over? Because a friend told me even if the registration is up to date, it gets terminated after selling it because the new owner will have to register anyways.
I ask because my bike registration has been expired since August 2018.
If this helps, I want a Honda CBR600rr, abs if i can get it. I want it used, the max Id spend on the bike is $5,000 - $6,000. I'm not sure if craigslist is a reliable place, and isn't the dealership expensive? Don't say cycle world they have horrible reviews. BUT Help?
