Tried starting my car but it wouldn't turn over. Until I gave it gas. After I get it to turn over and I stop giving it gas and it goes to idle the engine shakes and sputters. I only let that continue for a moment before I turn it off. Of course the check engine light is on and the d4 indicator light is blinking (owners manual says this means gear malfunction:/) any ideas what all this could indicate?
I have a 1997 honda accord that I bought a few months ago. The temperature gauge starts at c, and raises normally until it stops between the c and the middle. This problem has been happening consistently since day 1. Any suggestions before I start replacing things?
It's been in a few minor accidents but it's been fully repaired nonetheless. It has 30,000 miles. It has cruise control, automatic transmission, automatic locks and windows. It's red with a beige colored interior and fabric seats. The seats have hardly been sat on which makes them look fairly new. There aren't any stains or rips on the fabric either.

The owner said it broke while he was driving it, but hasn't touched the car since. It's a single shaft, and by the reports I read on honda accords, usually nothing happens to the valves and pistons in the engine. But just wanted to know everyone's thoughts. The car has 200k miles, but had a brand new transmission.
Having some trouble getting the car to start so I replaced the battery, bought from auto parts store. Came in, installed the battery, it turned on fine, then went out a little bit latter to turn it on and it wouldn't start. Nothing came on or happened. What should I do? No time or money for a mechanic.

I have a Honda 2011 Accord, and just today it was making bumping noises when I was driving. It was most noticeable at low speeds and as I drove on the highway the sound went away, but this is only because the sound gets faster and quicker when the speed is faster as well… It's not a loud noise, but sounds like as if you're constantly driving over a line or small bump in the road. No steering wheel shaking or anything. It was also snowing today and temperature is -2 C if that matters. It went away once I got to work, but worried that it will come back.
I just got married 2 days ago. My brother-in-law and my sister offered me their old car (Honda Accord 2001) like a gift for me. Is it mandatory that she must go to DMV with me or only me is enough?

4/ My wife has another car but she has a loan on her owner car. So that's why i'm unable to add my name in her car's title. Is it correct? We have the different car insurance, will it have influence on this activity?
What could be wrong? I notice that there's a white smoke coming out of the hood after I drive. It smells like burn. And it gets hot. What could it be. And how much do you think it well take to fix? I'm planning on purchasing either a used 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5 S with 73,000 miles or a used 2008 Honda Accord LX-P with 75,000 miles. Both cars are the same price with clean history and maintenance reports. I have read some reviews stating that the 2008 Accords have brake issues. Is this true, and does anyone know of any other common issues with either of these two cars? As I'm about to let go of a car that has been a money pit, my only concern is purchasing the more reliable vehicle. Which of these two vehicles would be the wiser purchase?
