Can I get a newer used car?

Alright, so I'm financing a 2003 Honda Accord EX V6 sedan. I purchased it back in December, and still have roughly $8,500 left on the loan. I have been disappointed with the Honda's fuel economy, so I'm wanting to trade it in for a fuel efficient 4 cylinder vehicle. Such vehicles in considering are the Kia Forte, Nissan Altima, and Nissan Sentra. Most of the cars I'm looking at are priced between $11,000 and $17,000. I have a credit score of 640 and my current payment per month on my Honda is $315. Do you think I'd be able to get a newer more fuel efficient vehicle with those types of numbers? I know the biggest thing that will affect it is the amount I still owe to the lean holder.

I'm looking for a car and came across an 08 honda accord. The seller has told me that up to 2008 Honda Accords, they do not change timing belts. Is this true? It has 4 cylinder engine.

I want to buy this cheap honda accord for 1000 dollars but the guy said that it needs some transmission work. I have absolutely no idea what this means. 1997 Honda Accord ES tempiture gauge not reading correct temp, what i need to check?

Already replaced thermostat.
Used correct 50/50 mix coolant.
As engine warms up the fans kick on and off properly. Just gauge is reading below operating temp. I drove around and gauge still only reads about 1/3 of the gauge, which is below operating temp. I know the engine is up to temp because fans are operating fine. Just need to know which sensor i need and location of it to replace to get correct reading.

Did you regret going from a minivan back to a smaller car?

My minivan sucks up way too much gas, is terrible to park, and i feel more distracted because my kids are so far away (in the third row.) I'm considering going back to a sedan… Say a honda accord. I have a 7,5, & 2 year old. The older two are in boosters, and the younger in a diono radian (the narrowest car seat on the market) so i know it will be tight and we won't be able to tow extra people. I just want to know if anyone else has gone back to the sedan from a mini… Did you regret it?

Grinding noise in reverse?

I have a 1996 Honda accord and while I was going about 50 I accidentally put the car from drive to reverse (herd a grinding noise ) then changed it back really quick now when I put it in drive now when I put it in reverse I hear a grinding noise, and it won't go backwards when I press the gas what could this be
