I just bought a 2006 Honda Civic sedan today and I was just wondering, I want more sound so right now it has stock exhaust, my question was if I get just the muffler without all the piping and stuff would it change the sound? Or would I have to get the whole kit like the pipes and stuff?
I'm a senior in high school this year so I'm thinking to get serious as this my final year. I feel so bad and dissapointed as I didn't really try at all through school. My GPA is only 2.3. I took the ACT twice and I made a 18. Looking forward to making higher. So what can I do now? Is it too late to turn my life for the better? I don't want to be making minimum wage and driving a Honda Civic. I don't know what profession can I go into? What is not too hard? I really interest about business but I know nothing about it. My uncle told me to be a pharmacist but it's honestly too tough for me. I'm not smart enough. I don't know what I'm good at. Some said I can draw really well
My car (1996 Honda Civic LX 4-Door Sedan) had stopped running recently, so I took the old battery out and got a new one. When I plug the second plug into the battery, its alarm goes off, and it won't stop unless I unplug it, which is what I'm forced to do. Can somebody help? How do I put the new battery in without triggering the alarm?
I have a cricket and a snake in my engine bay.
My car has a hissing sound coming from the clutch.
And a cricket-like sound also. It has a completely new clutch asseembly including a flywheel. My trans was grinding gears and went so I replaced it with new clutch and flywheel and the cricket sound came back and the hissing started.

It all of a sudden began overheating n spraying stream one morning. I replaced the overflow cap n coolant did no good. I replaced the thermostat and ran head gasket sealant through it and it did no good. We paid to have the water pump timing belt and alternator replacedand thermostat and valve cover gaskets and seals etc.it ran for about two weeks and began overheating again so bad n it would shut off while driving. We paid to have the head gasket replaced and head milled and it ran for about a week and it began slowly overheating and then shut down while driving. Another mechanic says the head gasket was done messy but I don't know. When it first began overheating originally it would be in park and gradually go to red zone hot. I would turn the heat on n get NO heat inside the car or defrost.could the heater core b clogged and causing all this trouble? We have bought a new radiator too but haven't replaced it yet. What is causing this problem? We need our car to b FIXED!
So I have this problem when I driving and the air conditioning is not on I feel heat coming out of the vents. I usually notice this when the windows are down but i usually keep the temperature knob on cold. The car has 50 thousand miles. Any way to make this stop? Its quite annoying when its already 100 degrees outside lol

Ok guys, this is a pretty in depth question so I'd really appreciate a thorough answer. I'm an upcoming senior in high school and I recently sold my '89'Chrysler LeBaron convertible to get something more "practical." As in, something I can drive year round. A little background about where I live, I'm located in Pennsylvania, our winters get pretty bad, I've only had one year of winter driving experience in a FWD 2003 Honda Civic coupe, I did more than fine. I have worked and saved up $9,000 with which I plan to buy a 2007 Hyundai Tiburon GS automatic 4 cylinder with just under 80,000 miles. Is this a smart investment? How will it handle in the winter if I'm to put on 4 winter tires? Is it reliable, will I have any major problems with it down the road? Remember I drove in the winter with a small car and I did fine, will this be the same case if I choose to purchase this Tiburon? My apologies for the drawn-out anecdote, I just want to feel at ease about purchasing this vehicle, I love the look and it's in excellent shape, the price is right too. Thanks everyone, I will give best answer to whoever answers the most thoroughly.
2001 Honda Civic with 225,000 miles. A few months ago, while having it in for an oil change, I was told by the service advisor that it needed a new oil pan as about half of the the threads had been stripped. They quoted me roughly $600. Why so high? What factors into this cost? Pricey parts/long labor? Or is it just the dealer being a little money-hungry?
My dad forgot to put the white cap on and now it's lost. Today my check engine light is on and the temperature gauge needle pointed on the red mark 1/4 away from my home. I was scared that my car will break down immediately but I made it home safely. Can I use any bottle cap or something that will fit? If not, how much does it cost to replace one for a 2003 Honda Civic EX?
