Will I be able to get a new car?

I was in a car accident 2 days ago and hit a woman coming out of a parking lot on to the main road. The police and insurance said that she was at fault for not yielding to the right of way, so her insurance is paying for the repairs and my rental car. They said today that it looks like my car will be totaled and they will pay me what the car is worth, which is probably about $5000 because its a 2005 Honda Civic and that's what I paid for it. Am I only going to get $5000 and then have to spend money myself or will they also provide more for me to get a car or how does this work?

Is the 2010 Prius and later a good, reliable car to own?

My friend owns a 2013 Prius C. She got it brand new as a gift from her parents and she says she only pays $15-20 a month for gas.

She also says it's reliable and that it apparently rarely needs repairs. She said that she hasn't changed the oil in about a year and it still runs smoothly she says.

She also notes that it has a very strong performance considering it has around 120 horsepower at 5000 RPM.

I really don't know a lot about cars. Ask me about human anatomy and I will let my nursing school knowledge go to work, but cars? I don't know jack. I was honestly thinking of getting a Honda Civic like everybody else.

Added (1). I don't really care about performance. So long as the car can drive at least a little over 70mph on the highway without breaking it's engine, I'm good. I don't need something with super-handling (what does handling mean btw) or goes 200mph and 1000 horse power.

I'm looking for point A to point B type of car.

2000 Honda Civic, 170,000 miles. Was driving, and the car stopped accelerating?

Was driving when the car stopped accelerating while I was pushing the pedal. Engine still revved, RPMs still went up. I coasted until I stopped and parked the car. Then I started the car again, was able to drive forward for about 500 feet into a safe parking lot and it happened again.

Transmission related I suspect but I wanted some more knowledgeable opinions.

How reliable are the Mitsubishi 3000GT s?

I'm thinking of getting my 2nd car soon, and I've had multiple choices to choose from, and eventually I've decided to go with either a Honda Civic (any model type; EX, Si, DX), or Mitsubishi 3000GT (Base or SL). Obviously the better choice to go with is a Honda Civic because they save you gas big time + are known to be very reliable + and is very cheap to fix. I haven't heard much from a 3000GT however. How reliable/durable is this model, and is it cheap to fix up (parts, maintenance, etc.).

How much can I get for my car?

I want to know how much you would pay for this car or if anyone would even bother, I will leave the details, if there's anymore details you need please ask.

Honda civic code PO135 won't turn off with new o2 sensor?

Code reader said po135 which means O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction. Bought a new o2 sensor, changed it and then reset the dash board. The light stayed off while the car idled but came back on when I drove it with the same code. Someone on youtube said that if it doesn't idle properly, you probably have a dirty aic valve and that could be what is causing the o2 sensor not to work. The car idled fine but I tried cleaning it anyways, the same thing happened. Someone please help!

Did my low pressure gauge flash because I had nearly no oil left?

So my car has been acting funny lately but I've noticed a sort of rattling more recently. Then after leaving work tonight my Low Pressure Gauge flashed for a second or two. So when I got home I checked my dipstick and sure enough I have neglected my oil level. So I filled up my car with oil and drove it around for a few minutes and didn't see the gauge flash again. Do I have anything else to worry about? I mean I know you guys can't say anything for sure and I'm going to see a dealership my next day off. But just looking for some previous experiences. I'm hoping that the problem is gone now and that was that. But yea, never that easy.

Why do people hate Honda civics?

So I currently drive a 2006 Honda civic with 115, 000 miles on it. Its never had any problems and I have had it almost 10 years! Before, I had a Nissan sentra which was an OK car, at first, but after about 5 years and 60,000 miles it became nothing but trouble, one problem after another
