How can I check if there's a bad connection for my speedometer in my 1995 Honda civic ex?
Added (1). my speedometer and odometer isn't working.
however I do not have a check engine light on.
I think it's either the speed sensor or a bad connection.
how can I check the connection?
do I pull the speedometer out?
My car is a 2001 Honda Civic DX Coupe.
I want to replace the stereo and also get subs and an amp. I may also need a sub box. Also, I'm new to audio systems and subs so I'm not sure if I should get a pair of 10's, 12's or just a single 15. My budget is around $250-$350 if that's possible. What would you guys recommend?
Recently my gas gauge stopped working so I ordered a 2000 Honda crv gauge cluster because I thought it looked better. This was about 3 days ago. I didn't notice this before but when I turn my headlights on, the maintenance required light turns on as well.
The light was never on before I changed the gauges. I'm thinking it could just be the illumination from the gauges lighting up that part. The car is mechanically sound.
I have a tow hitch but have no idea to use it?

Added (2). I have a 2013 Chevy Silverado, I'm planning to use it to tow a 1994 Honda Civic, Am i suppose to put it on neutral so that the engine won't mess up. I keep hearing mixed opinions about these things so help would be appreciated by you guys thanks!
Well, i need some really good facts of why a 2015 Jeep Wrangler is better than a 2015 honda civic. It will be my first car, and i really don't want a honda civic. My dad doesn't want to get me the Jeep because his friend had one and didn't like it because it didn't drive smooth, and my dad think i would get bored of the Jeep. I have a 1996 honda civic coupe (2dr) I have a pioneer detachable headunit, some rear 6x9 pioneer speakers, and I have some some door speakers I took off a bmw and out into my civic (they're dramatically thicker). I want to have a sub and amp installed. I have a sub box with no speaker and the hole circumference is about 10inches. My budget is around 150$, I don't need the best sub and amp, just something for better, louder sounding bass. Any sub and amp combinations that are around my budget? Also I have stock car battery and altanator, to what wattage can the car support? My headlights dim when i turn on the car so my altenator might be weak. Heard somewhere that can affect something! 2003 Honda Civic Si: thru research I found out it originally came with 15 inch rims, however I bought it with 16's on it. Also it has an 04 RSX tranny 6 speed. AND THE SPEEDOMETER DOES NOT WORK! I'm getting juice to the adapter for the speed sensor, and bought a brand new sensor thinking that was the case. But nope. Still no speedometer?! Any ideas on other ways to trouble shoot the issue?! Suggestions welcomed!
When I drive 50+, I feel my car shifting side to side just a little bit. Is it because the lug nuts are not tightly screwed on?
