I put a brand new distributor on my del sol. It solved the jumping rpm neddle and temp guage. But it still will not go over 4k rpm on highway. It just has no power after that. @ 4k, my engine isn't even screaming or trying to rev higher, it just sits there. So my car tops out @ 85 to 90 mph. I used to could hit 115 with no peoblem. Any suggestions?
I had gotten an oil change and they had told me I need a transmission oil change. It is a 2005 Honda civic and they said that I need it done. But I called a mechanic that I usually go to because he could do it for less, and he had said that I shouldn't have to do that at all. So do I have to change it or don't I?
So recently I just bought a 2007 Honda Civic Si from a dealer an the same night I get it home I notice both the reverse lights don't work. I live at in New York so the dealer went an had the car inspected but obviously they knew the inspector because how could your car pass inspection if the reverse lights don't come on?! So I mean what can I do about the problem if the dealer isn't whileing to fix it?
I just bought this car about 2 months ago and it's been fine with air conditioning but up until a few days ago it's been stalling when the air conditionings on. Any ideas?
Honda civic 97 coupe white smoke coming out?
Added (1). i have a honda civic with white smoke coming out. I'm guessing is a blown headgasket, i checked the antifreeze and its already really low which is funny cus i just filled it up 2 days ago. There's also a weird smell to it
if it is a blown head gas ket how much would it be to fix?

Recently bought my 98 Honda civic sedan 1.6L 4 cylinder. Car DIDN't have knocking noise until… I changed out the rear break shoes. After changing them I noticed the "rear-left" break drum had deep scratches from worn out break so I replace them as well. Now when I drive the car and I break semi hard when coming to a stop light, I hear a knocking noise(not loud, not fast knocking. But slow)coming from my REAR-RIGHT tire… What can be the problem? I doubt its the break drum because I got the right one and there's not exactly a wrong way to put on a break drum? Any suggestions helpful
