2001 honda civic reliablity?

I'm looking at buying a 2001 honda civic. Great looking condition, inside and out. 135k original miles, had a tech look at it seems to have no major issues just needs basic matience. I've done research tho and apparently the 2001 civic is the worst civic ever and maybe one of hondas worst cars ever due to so many transmission failures (1000s to fix) Anyone have any experience with these? My first car i'm only 17 and this is all my money i've saved. Id hate to see 3000 cash go down the drain like that.

Need brake help! 1994 Honda Civic DX 2 Door No hatchback?

Took it to the shop for two days and they changed the front caliper and brake pad. But the front right caliper doesn't gravity bleed or rotate because the caliper is grabbing. Just one side is grabbing.

So they suspected it was clogged they unhook the valve from the proportional valve to the front right caliper and blew air into it. Then we blew air into the proportional valve to the master cylinder and it un clogged. Hook it up and it started dripping then they hooked it up and it started gravity bleeding. But not shortly it stopped dripping and didn't gravity bleed and the caliper is slowly sticking.

What is the issue, my mechanics don't know what to do? Is it the proportional valve that needs to be fixed/ or replaced. If I replace it I have to get one from an car part because I don't have money to afford a new one atm. Or is it the whole brake system that needs to be bleeding and rid of toxic and sediment.

*Note the car has been sitting in a yard for two months
*Rear left bleeder valve nut is broken so I have to replace that before doing an entire bleed procedure.
*Replaced both caliper and break pads.

How much will car insurance cost me? - 1

I'm an 18-year-old and I'm wondering how car how much car insurance will cost me. I don't have a car just yet, but I will be driving my parents car around. It's a 2011 Honda Civic. How much will it cost me a month?

1998 honda civic idle issues?

It's a honda civic 1.6L vtec. Blew a head gasket about 2 months ago. Went threw the engine replaced radiator water pump timing belt thermostat spark plug cables and every gasket you can think of on the engine including the vtec filter gasket. Got everything pieced back together only thing I reused was the spark plugs basically because I'm out if money till I get paid. New fluids as well. Started the car after all this and it's idling odd. Jumping from 1000 to 2500 but when I turn on my a/c it lowers down and chills. Think it was from not running for so long and the fuel was sitting. But not positive. The timing and everything seems to be on point as we marked everything before taking it off. The idle is just really jumpy. Messed with the cables going to the intake and it quit for a bit but after turning car off and turning back on got the same issues. If anybody knows what I could do to get the idle to stay steady please let me know. Kinda stumped but hopefully I gave enough info. I'm curious to why it stops jumping when I turn the a/c on but once I turn it off it goes right back. Seems like it was much worse at first but got better after a test run.

Is $20,000 for a 2014 Honda Civic Sedan a good deal?

I was at the dealer today and the lowest they would go was $20,000 (this is including all fees such as processing fees, etc…). I'm assuming these are around $2,300 dollars so the car price would be around $17,700. Is that a good deal considering they won't go any lower than that what-so-ever. Could I get less at another dealership or when the 2015 models come out?

I need car help I think it's my brakes?

I bought a Honda Civic 2 Door 1994 DX no power window and it's not a hatch back. Forward wheel drive.
I changed both front break pads and the calipher on one side but my car will start to grab. It makes it hard to accelerate and then I check the brake pads and the brake pads are hot.
Whenever I accelerate and let go of the gas the car slows down.
And whenever I accelerate the car steering wheel starts to shake. I think it might be I have to change my other calipher as well because one froze up and I changed it but the other one he was able to push back in.

Just fixed a blown head gasket?

It's a 1998 honda civic ex 1.6L vtec just basically got everything back together. Nervous to start it back up. Basically my question is how can I get the air bubbles out of my radiator if there's any. Just want to make sure the antifreeze is flowing correctly
