Motorcycle starter over heated starter and only the solenoid clicked so i rebuilt the starter n tested it with a battery n it worked fine?

Put it back in bike and again only the solenoid clicks… Is there a fuse for the starter or a relay i may have blown?
1988 honda hurricaine 1000F
i'm ready to hang it up but the bike runs so good when it runs.
i ran out of gas n kept trying to start it till battery was dead and that is how it got this way. Please and thank-you

Added (1). starter works fine when hooked up to a battery off the bike.

Motorcycle engine vibrating?

I have a 125 Honda cbr that vibrates badly after about 5500rpm it happens even when the bike is standing still and happens with the clutch in and out even when in gear, I have had it looked at by a mechanic which thought it was valve clearances so they were adjusted and it's still the same, the bike runs ok and rides fine apart from every morning it doesn't start off the starter motor so I have to bump it but this was happening before the vibrating started to happen, it did also burn a full litre of oil within 2000miles which is not normal no smoke comes out of the exhaust when riding only sometimes at startup but if it was the valve seals I'm sure the mechanic would have noticed. The clutch has always been a bit noisy since I've had the bike but the vibrating is that loud that I can't tell if the clutch still sounds the same or whether the clutch noice has turned into the vibrating, the bikes done 17000 miles, 5000 of them hard riding not sure about the rest, oil level is fine also changed the oil, the bike used to slip out of gear and go into neautral but now it slips out of gear but it's still catching I don't know whether there's just multiple different things wrong but it's only 2 years old, does anyone know what it could be?

Any tips for a young person interested in motorbikes?

So my dad used to ride motorbikes and he is still obsessed with them even thought he can't ride them with his old age and injury.

I guess it must have rubbed of because I want to get a motorbike licence now.

I'm 19 and I really like the Honda CBR motorbikes. But I could use some tips for studying for the theory test.

I don't know how different the rules are to other countries because I'm in Ireland.

I could use some help on choosing my first bike too, I was looking at the Honda CBR 125cc, but there aren't that much for sale where I'm (that i know of)

And finally, is there anything else I should know in terms of equipment and when I start practising riding a motorbike?

Any helpful tips would be really appreciated.

Motorcycle engine running very hot?

I own a Honda cb125f which I purchased new in Feb 2017. A few days ago I noticed while on the bike I void feel the heat from the engine through my boots and on my leg, when I got home I checked it and could feel the heat with my hand a good 6/7inches away from the engine, and could only manage about half a second touching the engine itself.

Conditions that day were mild but a high chilly wind, and had riden the bike about 8miles and was stuck in traffic for only a few minutes. Since then It seems the engine gets hot very quick even on small journeys. I use my bike for work and travel about 2.5miles. Even the exhaust doesn't get anywhere near as hot as the engine.

Was woudnering what be causing this? The bike didn't feel smooth when running, almost like something is rough inside the engine (if that makes sense) it's odd as only have a service a couple of weeks ago

Accidentally Took out the wrong engine cap in my Motorcycle while trying to drain the Engine Oil?

My Motorcycle is a Honda XRM. I was trying to change engine oil but opened a different screw/cap just beside the engine oil drain.A 5 inch long spring and a rod with holes came out, i put it back the way i think it should be, then opened the Drain cap, drained the engine oil and filled it with new oil.
But when i start the motorcycle it sounded like there's something loose moving inside the engine.
What is the rod and spring that came out? Is it critical?

Motorcycle club registration?

I have recently purchased a 1984 Honda motorcycle and want to put it on club registration. I understand how the club permit scheme works however I'm having some trouble finding a club that will grant a permit. Can anyone recommend a club in Melbourne that will happily grant a club permit without having me to attend club events and the like? I get that clubs need members to attend events and I'm normally happy to attend, but I work nights during the week and can never get to the monthly meetings.

Can you use ride with the Yamaha yz125 over long distances?

I'm considriring buying a new bike, I want to ride mx and also fmx but also take the bike out for a day on the farm and do some play riding, trail riding… I don't know if you can ride long distances with the yz125 without cuasing damage to the engine. Long distance meaning a on the farm, not from one city to the other.

Then, the servicing, I probaly wouldnt service her after a day of play riding. Only after serious mx races, would that damage the bike? (i will check the oil and water before every ride, don't have problem with that.)

Also then can one of these bikes do what i just said:

KTM SX125
Honda CRF 150 RB
Kawasaki KX 125
Suzuki RM 125

also can one ride enduro with any of those bikes?
