Where should i begin my motorcycle restoration?

I'm preparing to restore my 85 honda atc200x, however it has many issues that need repair and need input on where to start. I have had the bike 2 years and have rode it very much before this.
The forks need new seals because one is leaking a ton of oil. The carburetor need a new bowl gasket, so i'm going to order a rebuild kit.
The top clamp on the triple tree is striped on top where the handle bar clamps bolt down.
The axle carrier also needs new bearings
Also should i rebuild the motor or continue to run it as is?
The motor has good compression and does not smoke.

What Motocross Bike For An Adult Beginner?

I'm an adult who wants to get into motocross and have approximately £5k to spend on a bike. I have no experience so would need to learn how to ride firstly. I'm about 5"7 and my friend has recommended Honda CRF150, but am having trouble finding a seller. Would a CRF250 be alright for a beginner?

NYS Registering Motorcycle with no bill of sale?

2000 honda cr250r running full RPM?

I have a 2000 honda cr250r, one day i went to start it and it started up idling what sounded like full RPM, it was screaming like crazy, kill switch wouldnt kill it, managed to put it in gear and drop the clutch to shut it off. Started it a few days later and it was fine, then just the other day i was riding and hit a small jump, when i landed the bike took off and i fell off the back, it drove on its own for a good 30-50ft until it fell over, but while it was leaning on its side it was idling at the full RPM again, and couldnt get it shut off with the kill switch. Went to start it a few minutes later and same thing happened with the bike screaming at crazy high rpm, my buddy did a few adjustments to it and it seemed okay enough to drive it back to the truck and bring it into the shop, my reed boot needs to be replaced because of split in the rubber, but i can't figure out why this would have happened, and want to find a solution because its scary as hell when it happens and is dangerous

What to do when car is hit by a bicycle with no owner and no witnesses?

I was driving down hill and to my left I noticed something coming down fast with me. I then realized it was a bicycle zooming down with NO owner and it swerved right in front of my car and I tried to brake but the bike swerved too fast into my lane and I hit it. There was a random kid who saw but walked away. Luckily there was no huge damage, but right above the headlight of my car (which is a lease) the handle of the bicycle jabbed into the hood and scratched up the metal and paint. There's literally a small slit hole but the size of a quarter. I have honda collision coverage to cover dings, dents, and scratches. Would that cover it or do I need to go to a mechanic to get it fixed? And would anyone know how much it would cost?
