Is it bad to floor a cold engine?

I have a 4 cyl honda accord and i live right off a very very busy highway. I usually start my car, turn the heat and radio on, back out of my driveway, and i almost always have to almost floor it to get up to speed since i'm backing out of my driveway into traffic. I'm wondering if this is hard on the car. If so how bad is it?

What do I need to finish clear coat?

I have a 2005 honda accord coupe. I recently repainted the driver side door and fender and just finished applying the final layer of clear coat. After wet sanding the orange peel, what products and tools do i need to get that high gloss finish?

Would a used or new Dodge challenger SXT be good for my first car?

Hi, I'm 16 year old male highschool and I just got my license and am looking to buy a first car, preferably muscle because that's my life right there and I think owning a Dodge Challenger as a first car instead of let's say a used Honda accord or even new would just define me as a person. I understand that I'm a new driver and there are things to be put into consideration, but I don't want to be a part of the "don't get a nice car for your first" norm. Also, what would the insurance for a vehicle like that be? I live in North Carolina. And do challengers get good gas mileage, etc? I heard they were pretty alright on that type of stuff. I don't want one to be fast/cool, I want it to show that I love American Muscle cars.

I seem to have warped rotors! What's causing this? How can I prevent it?

I drive a 2004 Honda Accord 4cyl. Last October I replaced all of the brake rotors which I believe were original based on their drastic condition. The pads were replaced as well. I lubed the sliders and replaced the hardware as well. For a while they were perfect, but recently they are pulsing as if at least one of them is warped. There's no knocking noise, steering noise or any indication to me that there's a problem with CV joints or tie rods or anything like that. My last two cars were an 04 Accord which I bought new and drove almost 300k miles and an 07 Accord which I bought used and took to 200k miles. Both of these cars seemed to always develop the same problem as well. How can I remedy this and prevent it from happening? I'm not hard on my brakes since I drive a manual and do a lot of hwy miles. Any advice is much appreciated!

Is this car deal good or should I negotiate more?

I went to Honda to look at a certified pre-owned, 26k miles 2014 accord sport for $17,400… Great car… Got them to bring it down to $17,000…

Now I notice on their site (while i was there) there was another 2014 accord with 17k miles(certified pre owned) selling for $500 more… I wonder why it was ONLY selling for $500 more! That's 9k in miles difference.

I was told apparently retail price of the vehicle and how much it takes to certify their vehicles determine the final asking price (the 26k miles accord retail price was 21,000 vs this one had a sticker of about 19,500)…

So at this point i'm focused on the 17k mile car… I got them to even drop the price to 17k (what they offered me for the 26k mile car)… Is that a good deal? Reminder both are certified vehicles… I just don't understand fully why they would want to sell a car with less miles for less…

Is the maintenance cost of an infiniti g35 coupe significantly more than a honda accord coupe?

My mom said she would possibly buy me a used infiniti g35, or a new honda accord coupe. The only thing she has against the infiniti 35 is that in the long run, she says the maintenance/repair costs are going to be significantly higher than the honda accord coupe. Is this true?

i've always believed that maintenance costs were significantly higher for bmw's, mercedes, and lexus but not so much for infiniti's.

How much will my insurance be after a coupe car? I'm only 18 years old?

So i currently am a 18 year old College student. I work part time at Best Buy. I'm including my family (total of 5 people) in AAA insurance. I'm not sure how much my parents and what the total for the insurance we pay annually, but i know that i pay 110 every month. This was when i had my honda accord 2007 under my dads name but i was driving it. But now i sold it. I'm thinking of getting a 2010-2012 Hyundai Genesis coupe 2.0T V4 or 3.8 V6. Before i go to my insurance, any ideas how much i will end up paying if i get the car and put it under my parent's name?

Check engine light came on while driving?

I drive a 1996 Honda Accord LX coupe. The car already has a hole in the exhaust by the heat shield. I was driving up a hill and suddenly my car went from slightly loud to really loud to where my car vibrates when I accelerate. A few seconds later, the check engine light came on. I don't suspect anything to be wrong with the engine as it runs just fine and the sound comes from underneath the car.

Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Should I bring the car for a drive after I suspected I've drained the battery?

Here s the situation. I was listening to my disc in the car for about half hour ish. Then the radio started acting up and when I wanted to startup the engine, it wouldn t start and it made a clickering noise. I came back after 3 hours. An prayed to god hoping it ll start. It did. So now my question is, should I drive it around for a while? Or is it okay just to leave the engine on for a few minutes for it to recharge? Sorry am a girl. Don't know much about cars. I drive a 2007 Honda Accord 7.5th generation. Auto transmission. Should i see a technician regarding this as well?
