I went to Honda to look at a certified pre-owned, 26k miles 2014 accord sport for $17,400… Great car… Got them to bring it down to $17,000…
Now I notice on their site (while i was there) there was another 2014 accord with 17k miles(certified pre owned) selling for $500 more… I wonder why it was ONLY selling for $500 more! That's 9k in miles difference.
I was told apparently retail price of the vehicle and how much it takes to certify their vehicles determine the final asking price (the 26k miles accord retail price was 21,000 vs this one had a sticker of about 19,500)…
So at this point i'm focused on the 17k mile car… I got them to even drop the price to 17k (what they offered me for the 26k mile car)… Is that a good deal? Reminder both are certified vehicles… I just don't understand fully why they would want to sell a car with less miles for less…
